Plaid Inspired Beaded Ball Ornament/ Christmas Tree/ Holidays/ DIY Gifts

Another fun beaded ball design for you all to try at home! This one is inspired by some of my favorite commercially bought Christmas ornaments colored in red and green plaid. I hope you enjoy this original design as much as I had making it to share with you all. This is an original design of Cat’s Trunk and is intended for personal use only.
Materials:
11/0 seed beads (Miyuki in Transparent Ruby)
11/0 seed beads (Miyuki in Silver Lined Gold)
11/0 seed bead “Christmas Green” (originally bought in bulk)
5 mm gold tone glass bugle beads
14 feet waxed beading thread
2.6 inch (67 mm) glass ball ornament
Tools:
#10 beading needle
Spring clamp bead stop
Large eye needle
Scissors
Ruler (measuring out 14 feet thread)
Something to hold your ornament steady for you (optional)

Love this pattern! Very easy to follow, first time making a Christmas ornament that comes together at the end. All the other ones i made usually have dangle beads at the end. May I ask what name brand thread your using? Love how much you have of it on a roll.

Sorry for the delay. I am currently using KO brand waxed beading thread. This is because I am unable to find more of my old brand, which is no longer available. The KO is on Amazon for a pretty good price. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching. I do hope to have more videos out soon.

If you need the collar bigger can’t you just add two 11/0 between the bugles?
