Very nice video! But you can also mention R:R to simplify the idea @Boss Habby. If a trader’s risk-reward is 1:2. Then when he risk $50, he would wants to get $100. And increasing lotsize for the same R:R with only a 20pips SL would give 1:4 R:R when a 10 pips SL is used. Great one 👍
Whether 10pips or 20pips, the setup is what determines how much pips to risk then that determines the lots size. It's shouldn't be the other way round.

Unless you only trade one pair using specific 20pips sL is a no no, why because Forex pairs have different volatility when it comes to pips, newbies will not understand this. Besides, the calculation you made only works for dollar pairs and USD must be the minor there eg like eurusd gbpusd. Always use a pip calculator to do the maths, and your SL should be dynamic.
Under stand something hear and u will grow in forex, our valid BOAT(best of all time)said set a trading goal so big that u can't achieve it untill you grow into a trader who can. Everyone did the same thing now is my turn to follow habby the great🔥🔥but do it the right way😅
Not really sure because i am a beginner but doing my lame man calculations, i am seeing a two way thing here: 1. if you use lower SL and higher lot size, you get more value on each pip but you won't last long if market is going against your trade. 2. If you use an higher SL and lower lot size, you get low value per pip but you last longer if market is going against your trade. Gradually, the knowledge on money management is coming out. Money management is the only way to grow consistently. The formula is; Lot size = ( Risk Amount)/(SL x Pip Cost) For this video; Risk Amount is 5% of $1,000 = $50 SL = 20pips ( assumption) Pip cost = $10/pip (assumption) Substituting gives Lot size = ($50)/(20 x 10) Lot size = $50/200 Lot size = 0.25. The only problem here is 1. The assumptions on 20 pip SL. SL can be whatever amount and still lose only $50 on the trade because it's market structure that determines the suitabke number of pips for stops ( SL or TP) 2. The 2nd.assumption on $10/pip is not applicable in all pairs except where USD is the quote. USDCHF, USDCAD, USDJPY dont have $10/pip just like GJ, EJ, are around $7/pip. I just hope someone understands this.

On a standard account, this 1 pip is +$10 or -$10 depending on the direction you've taken. This pip cost varies from one currency pair to another For example. EURUSD $10 EURGBP $12.23 EURCHF $11 EURJPY $6.6 USDJPY $6.6 GBPUSD $10 A lot of traders (even professionals with decade of experience), assume the pip cost of $10 but is not correct. This is not a good trading for me. 20 stop is not realistic on a long term in this market. It may work for only you. You're a boss and you have a high risk appetite
Then you really have to give your trade a breathing space; the bigger your Risk to reward ratio the lower your win-rate. Increase the size of your stop loss and become a profitable trader ❗

Observation: You forgot to add the constant “10” sir. 0.25 X 10 X 20 I.e, lot size x 10 x pips. I be your student. Been following all your videos.

The lots size calculation ought to have been like this ;
20pips × lots size × 10 = 50dollars
Lots size =50/20×10
=50/200=0.25 lots size

Guess it was a mistake. Each time I used it I arrived at the % risking not amount risking
20 pips = $10 per pip...
That means 20pips = 200
