    Rachel, Linda does some pretty amazing work! I LOVE how she fixed up the Steiner Doll's dress with the sashes and the lace! She actually makes the melting of the fabric look like it's part of the style of the dress:)!! Linda is really quite the seamstress! And she did a good job with your husband's overalls as well:)!! As for the Steiner doll, the first blond curly wig I think looks the best on her! I also love that flirty doll! The Mohair haired eyelashes in The dimple on her chin make her look absolutely beautiful:)!! I also like the African-American Juneau Doll as well:)!! Thank you For sharing with us Linda's amazing Seamstress and doll restoration talents:)!! Linda also seems like a nice down-to-earth person who makes a wonderful teacher:)!! And as for hiding the dolls from her husband, that was kind of Hilarious:)!!! I don't think I could hide my dolls and teddy bears from my boyfriend quite as well, LOL:)!! And Rachel your dog Ripley Is adorable:)!!

    Great job Linda with that Steiner too! Glad that she has already a new mom! I love to hear Linda talk about all that she does and comments about dolls, especially when she said that she hides dolls from her husband. Makes me feel better that I am not the only one!! Anyway she is so talented that she should have a patent with the Jumeau portrait and mass produced for girls our generation. They would love those beautiful articulated dolls!

  • @lillychevalierfox
    @lillychevalierfox Před 3 lety +1

    my gang 50 dolls came to me bought or offered to me as present... as you do Rachel, I keep them near me on my desk and wait to be "connected", then magic happens. she/he "tells me her/his name, then country of origin, work, address, passion, job, favorite color, and style. All my dolls have a true personality. Lilly who is my muse is originally Tyler 1999 from R. Tonner, her full name is Lilly, Dom Chevalier-Fox / she lives rue Gabrielle, Paris France / she is fashion designer / self employed / birthday may 03rd / Pet, black/brown beagle named Coco / her hobby fashion and travel she loves asymmetrical fashion, her character friendly, creative and bright - I spend hours figuring who my new doll will become and I enjoy this immensely.

    Hi again,
    Thank you for your reply. I was inquiring about the oil pastels and compo repair chalks you use for crazing on your compo dolls. Would love to find out more about them and where I might be able to buy them. If there is a better way to find out please advise...Thank you...

    Hello I have been watching you for sometime now. Love the shows. I did watch one when you and another doll restorer used some oil pastels for doll crazing. What are they called. and where can I buy them. Noticed on was called Compo Repair then that was all I could see. What are the names of both items and where may I purchase them. Thank you kindly, Pamela

      Hi! I forgot what they’re called, will have to recall the video. I just did a couple of searches online for them and can’t find them. It’s something like “Craze Control” sticks. I’ll see if I can find the sticks at the shop.
