You washed the jeep. Looks good
Saved me money and time, I like the camp grill it self, little heavy but we will use it.
Thanks , i was thinking about upgrading to this , not now. Think i will stick with the original 17/22 stand that i already have and save the money.
If your stationary I would suggest a better stand, but for camping it’s not bad for the price. Camping gear has gotten expensive.
Great review 💯the truth 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I almost grabbed one today. So glad I didn't
I am gonna get one of these camp griddles. I have the old stand for the 17" & 22" i am hoping this new one fits on it just fine
I did a review on the griddle too.
Y'all need to check out the ALPS OutdoorZ camp table, that is what I use and its great. Don't like that wobbly system when cooking and no where to put the bottle. the ALPS packs up in a neat case. Wish I could post pictures. Where are you headed in the Ozarks, we are just north of Springfield,MO.
Put a link in here I’ll check it out.
Just put some petroleum jelly on the inside of the 4 leg slots, makes the legs go in and out easily.
You can put a threaded insert in the bottom of legs to attach your feet to.
Ya but being soft plastic I don’t know how well it would hold up over time
I think im going to do what you did and run the feet on the stand. I dont like how thick mine is with the stand mounted to bottom
Very helpful video. What has been your pros and cons using the griddle?
Clean up on the griddle top itself is a BIG pro for me. But also the back side of the lid is textured and is a pain to clean and is a big con. I really don't have a lot of complaints about it. The hinges could be better, and the lid could be a little more rigid.
Any support products to hold the propane bottle ? Kinda heavy and it should be a angled up but seems heavy
Not that I’ve seen I mostly use a 5lb bottle.
I got the 17” adventure ready griddle and then bought this stand today. Maybe it’s me, but the holes seem to be about an inch off, front to back, which is not adjustable that I can figure. Anyone else?
Will it let you post a picture in the comments?
Just got one and stripped two screw . I have a 22 and put it on all the way. What size screw did you replace them?
M4. 70 x 12 Lowes has them.
The screws stripped out on the first two that I’ve got
Same here, returning for an exchange today. Gonna hit them with wd40 before I try to unscrew them lol
I have a blackstone 17" stand for the old 17"' will that fit this new one as well?
The box said 17” and 22”
my question is what do you do with your propane bottle since it mounts on the side? There is no way it can be good just hanging there in the air
I haven’t mounted it yet, but ya you can mount them on your rack. A ton of Co makes the mounts for them. Most of us run the little 5lb to 10lb bottles.
@@Thecrayonbrotherhood i was just thinking more so for the little 1lb bottles and regulator that comes with the grill, from a minimalist aspect. I appreciate the response
Ya I got tired of running through the 1lbs and got the 5lb. I could have gotten the fill kit to refill the 1lb but it cost as much as buying a 5lb. And I kept 4 1lb bottles in my pull out kitchen drawer, now that freed up some room in there.
You ever have a moment of realization? I just did. You were asking about the 1lb bottles just hanging off the regulator in mid air. Ya I can’t see that being good for the regulator either, specially since the regulator on the camp griddle is about 10” long. And if nothing else is a big snag issue. I definitely recommend using the hose adapter and bigger bottles. That’s a good point you brought up. I thought you had seen my 5lb bottle in the back ground or something. I apologize for my misunderstanding.
@@Thecrayonbrotherhood its ok. I almost bought the table last week when I picked up my grill, but I did not see any place to mount my bottle. Since your video was the 1st true review i've seen on youTube, I thought this would be the perfect person to ask. As you stated the 1lb bottles are depleted pretty quickly and I didnt realize they made 5lb bottles, so this worked out in the long run. :)
Where you get your griddle I can’t find that style
For some reason they took them off the online shopping. You have to find them in stores. Not sure where your located, the last I looked the Texarkana Tx store and the Hope Ar store had them. But they are Walmart only items.
Just bought my leg kit tonight, it's going back to the store tomorrow, absolute garbage. My legs slide like shit and you'll pinch the dog shit outta yourself, my 17's way too heavy for camping when you add up all the crap that needs to go with it. Headed to the garage sale this summer, after 3 years of use I am officially done with the whole griddle concept as far as camping goes. At home it's so much easier to just use my $20 electric griddle. Thought I'd use it more if I had these legs for it but they are hot garbage.
You will definitely pinch yourself if you’re not careful. I do think they could have designed it better for sure.
You complain way too much 😅
Don’t we all ?
