Northern Ireland here. We have your rain. We also had a hosepipe ban first because everyone was using water quicker than it can be treated.

Microbursts were mentioned in the film ‘Twister’ all those years ago. Now I know what they are, so thank you for that!
    Great show, informative and fun.

Great vid, informative, interesting & useful-thanks. I’m a lover of our unpredictable climate, I like cooler rather than hotter. I’ll continue with your channel now I’ve found it. I hope you continue with the informal but stat rich format👍🏻.

could you talk about how other environmental factors may affect the weather, like the Atlantic ocean currents. great show!

The gulf stream is just about the most important thing in our weather. If we didn't have that, then winters would be long and very harsh, similar to Canada.

I always enjoy your videos! The higher or lower game was great! You guys are going to be as popular as BBC Autumn Watch with Makayla and Chris! Will it be called Weather Watch? :)

Looks like you're going to have to explain that chemtrails aren't a thing (and how absurd that conspiracy is) to some of your audience... I've seen psuedoscience and straight nonsense promoted in weather-related YT livestream chats a lot more recently, very strange.

POLICE MATRIX The contrails from aircraft engines are mainly water vapour from the burning fuel, the other wingtip vortices are water in the air around the wing being forced to become liquid by pressure changes induced by the wing. The chemtrail folk think aircraft either have nozzles to spray chemicals or additives in the fuel that not only alter the weather and climate but also our minds, and they’re straight crazy people.

The ones I refer to as crazy are those that push the conspiracy theory despite all the evidence to the contrary. People who are just trying to learn of course are different, which is why it’s worrying to have seen a sudden increase in pseudoscience channels promoting themselves in weather-related stream chats recently.

I just wish they could get on with it and do so much of the chatty, chatty bits. It seems so forced.
