I did all three, so someone owes me a "I'll love you forever" t-shirt. Plus I'm leaving a comment! The vocals remind me of Bryan Ferry.

Too funny! You covered all the bases! All kidding aside, thanks so much! You get the "Listener of the Day" award. :)

    Great review.
Oh, how alone I have become
    But hide it from you
    My silent grief bears
Knows what makes me feel good but can't
    Stopped by the street.
    Increase my distress
I wander off, but my step is heavy
Because a city has sprung up
    With a deserted square
Who gives me vision and keeps me going
    The houses are multiplying rapidly
    I'm stuck
If I could get out to you
    Over the city
    And found a way
To get back to your house
    Through the city
    I break my way
Try to follow the road that is popular
But he quickly plays me gray
    I lose direction
Oh, how alone I have become
I wish I was with you
    Now my grief is over
If I could get out to you
    Over the city
    And found a way
To get back to your house
    Through the city
    I break my way
If I could get to your house
    Over the city

Valdimar is the bands name and also the lead singer name. Valdimar himself is also a very popular singer and frequently sings for or with others.
We (Icelandic people) do appreciate when foreigners try to pronounce our language but usually you guys are way of - but that is OK. The vowels in Icelandic are pronounced differently; our y is pronounced like our i or like your i in if, our ý is pronounced like our í or like yours E, our Æ is like yours I, our EI / EY is like yours A in the April, our Á is like yours OU in our… so we really do not expect foreigners to master Icelandic pronunciation. Just happy if you try.

LOL..in other words, I was completely off! Too funny. I appreciate that you understand how it might be hard for us. As bad as I butchered the names, I'm really glad I heard this. I just loved the song. Thanks for the listen.

I find with my weak memory and attention span, that I have to hit the thumbs up before your intro is even done. You might try googling the English lyrics of any song you llsten to. The words come easily. Sad song but very lovely.
