I have a 69, 4 speed with a 454, I love it so much. Impala's were the car of America, ridiculous hood so long I have to pull out in traffic just to see if a car is coming. The trunk is bigger than my whole Mazda. She cant corner but she is a bullet on the straightaway. These cars are the cars of my childhood. I enjoy driving it.
What I remember from my 68 is I couldn't throw my school books in the back without that aggravating sound of the tire rubbing on the wheel well. sure nough over time enough is enough, bye.
