No Its DEF UNITED because I fly Southwest all the time and they don't use NEARLY all that runway......Watch SW in the video compared with UA.@@OSUfan757
UPS had a beautiful Tri-Holer in ATL yesterday. ATL is always interesting when Delta has a lot of RON aircraft. That UA 737 was hauling down that taxiway when Moxie was leaving. My favorite PSA livery was when they had a 727 leased to celebrate Donald Ducks birthday. It had a Happy Birthday sticker above the windows.
The PSA reference brought back the memories! My father took me plane spotting every Friday night at San Jose during my youth in the late 60s to the late 70s. The best part about SJC back then was the lack of jetways...every flight boarded its passengers by walking out to the plane across the tarmac. If you spotted from the observation deck, every departing aircraft would fire up its engines, taxi forward, then do a sharp right turn to head down to 30L and you would get a face full of jet A every time. The vast majority of flights in and out of there were operated by PSA 727s and Air California 737s, but occasionally you would get a DC-8 from United, a DC-9 from Hughes Airwest or a 707 from Western and a few others. That airport is unrecognizable now compared to how it was back then.

I’m crying 😭 about the time change, yes, I am the owl type, and of course, love the cold, coldest weather. No, I’m not a vampire nor am I insane, though my family might disagree. At least mornings and coffee with the Captain will offer stability and fun. Thanks for all you do.
Hi Captain I think UPS gets the award for having 3 great Aircraft The PSA livery is very cool as well Something nice about those special liveries I hope everything turned out well for that AA flight🙏🏻 On a lighter note...... That crow is lookin' for ya At least it isn't Rosie the river rat 😆 Busy day at TPA.....lots of fun Thanks again for bringing it to us See ya tomorrow🫡 Dave
Does anyone recall the days in 2005, 2006, 2007, etc. where the single isle (737 & 320) coast to coast flights were barely able to make the trek and have the required fuel reserve due to the jet stream? What has changed? Updated models of the single isles are now more efficient? The runway excursion was at IAH ("intergalact" intercontinental) not HOU. @17 min with United - They paid for the runway they might as well use it :)
Morning Captain!! UA needs some sage cleansing! Houston has 2 airports Hobby which is Southwest central and Bush Intercontinental International. My friend Sal aka Caliplanes caught the Boss aka 777 leaving SFO! It was a big day for him! UA flies into Bush which is a hub for them. That's where the Raptor aka 737 went off the runway.
Captain steven I just came home from orlando and we drove pass orlando international Airport and I saw some planes coming and going while in the car and driving to orlando also
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich Captain Steven are you still at Tampa International spotting we got the super Mario brothers Nintendo world visiting TPA Tampa International about 7:24 pm arrival time just checking in about the new spirit plane arriving into Tampa International
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich Well, I actually went to the Audiomachine website since you asked, and never mind.. they want a dump truck full of money for a microlicense.
A person got stuck in the bathroom on board a delta flight the pilot and flight attendant tried to get the door open and it took the passenger inside the bathroom to kick the door open
What ended up being the issue with the American Emergency? What flight number was it? The video says 1749, 789, and 789D at different times, but non of those were in Tampa on Saturday.
I heard the guy in Thailand was smuggling a monkey in his butt. Security caught him because he had a tail sticking out of his shorts. That's what I heard, not confirmed though.
United's motto: "We use all the runway, so you don't have to!!!" Great video, Captain. Hope you and the Boss are having a great weekend!!!
Thats the 737’s not united. 737’s are notorious for using an astronomical amount of pavement to get in the air.
Thanks alike good motto 👍👍

Hello Dave. Yes all ended well with AA thank goodness. Have a great week
Love it. First outbound flight is to the home of Bucky Badger, Madison, WI.
Bucky 👍👍
SW caught the hook for sure....ouch
Yep big mess is right!!!
6 hour weather delay
Bad line of thunder storms just north of tpa. I was there all day stuck🎉🎉🎉🎉
Sorry hopefully you made it out ok.
The emergency AA was able to land pretty short, only used about 5,000 feet.
Yep amazing pilots
The flights at beginning all looked slow on take off to me except Southwest. Emergency situation was interesting.
Fun day

Looks like UA was going too fast from what I’ve heard 2nd hand so
I take it with a grain of salt

Breaking: United Airlines taking off from Sydney Australia had smoke coming from right rear wheels. Had to go back to Sydney.
Not a wonderful week for UA
Yes Captain Steven Madison Wisconsin is home of the Badgers.

Yes how odd
Back in the 1960's Navy we used to call PSA the Poor Sailor's Airline. 😂
Interesting just learned something 👍
UA had to abort cruse from Sidney, another tire hub problem! Smoking this time.
What next
Oh, I never knew Breeze went to Madison, and yes, Madison is home to the Badgers :)

Never heard other than emergency landing. Yes the flight number apparently was changed and ended with the letter D which is odd
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich Thanks for the update! I appreciate it and love watching.
Alaska airlines and Boeing are facing a 1B$ lawsuit
What a mess
What Happened With That Aircraft???🤔💭🤷♂️✈️🇺🇸
Never got the details
I read that Alaska is ridding itself of all the Airbus aircraft that they acquired from their merger with Virgin
Yep all gone
They may want them back
Just get the toilet plunger out and they can suck the dents outa that car.
Better be a big plunger 🪠
morning Capt how about that tire falling off the United 777?? the media is hating on Boeing but to me it's a maintenance problem for United
Absolutely a maintenance issue. The media is driving me crazy with the pile on Boeing articles they write.
I have no first hand knowledge of what occurred but sure looks like maintenance
