When having kids, it’s actually a beautiful thing!! I admit I was like that when I was in the military, but I had to man up, step to the plate, and see it as a positive thing.
Cuz it is a positive thing. For the people who see it as a negative clearly dont want kids.
I don’t think anyone sees it as a negative thing. It’s just the timing that is the issue. Most people (including myself) encourage soldiers (those getting out of BCT and AIT) not to get married and have kids as a way to get out of the barracks and to get BAH. Getting a divorce can fuck your life up in the military. Get married when you actually find the one (not some person you just met), and when you are both emotionally and financially ready (E1, E2 and E3 have no business getting married and having kids).

My man's away at bootcamp for the marines for a week now. Been w him for almost 2 years, we were best friends before we even thought about dating. I want to get married but I'll wait a lifetime until he's ready because he's worth it and I don't want anybody else. I was getting a little antsy about it, but I'm not gonna force that on him.
