Hi dear, thanks for sharing this useful video. I would like to know how to make a front page with your templates sample for clients to see on Etsy. Sellers templates make a presentation for clients see on Etsy. How do I do that? I mean that squares presentation you see on Etsy at first for clients to choose what to buy. Like a showcase haha

Clearly very late to the game but finding this video is super helpful! I just have one question if you happen to see this - is there a way to ensure that if someone does not use canva, that the regular PDF version in editable for them, or is this the "default" setting for PDFs? Again, thanks so much!
The person does not need Canva to access the PDF at all. Just provide the PDF and they'll be able to access any link you embed to the document. Unless the link goes to a Canva file, then they'll need it.

It has changed a bit. All you need to do is click on "share" then on "download".

I have spent days and days getting more and more frustrated. I create things on Canva no problem love it, I just cant get the designs onto Etsy. I have tried on my MacBook and on my iPhone. I have just tried your workaround above where I create a ticket and link the creation to the ticket and try to upload that. Same thing whatever I do....my pdf shows on my device but its greyed out and cant click it to select to upload. Yet when it first comes off Canva onto my device I can click the CLICK HERE part and it takes me to the original creation but cant load anything onto Etsy. I am literally going crazy here PLEASSSE can you help?

Hi! Love this tutorial 💖 question so I created a consent form on canva than I went to “PDF escape so customers can fill out digital form using an iPad. When I tried to upload the PDF back to Canva the elements and wording were out of place. I’m so frustrated “Help Please”
Don't upload back to Canva. Create the design in Canva, then add the boxes in PDF escape.

you can create a PDF on canva for free. Your customer does not need to have a canva account if you are delivering a PDF

You copied template link from pro version and a buyer purchased who didnt use pro version of canva would that PDF be still functionable
Yes, they can still use it even if you're on the pro version and they have the free version.
Hello, I’m wondering if we can sell a pdf document with our canva notebook where the customer can insert his picture and write in it without downloading the canva application? And how to do it?
you'll need to provide yuor customer with a PDf, they'll then need a PDF annotating app like Goodnotes in order to ass images/text to that PDF
Great video! How would it work if I had the pro Canva and using pro fonts and the customer only has the free version?
If you're providing them with a final product in the form of a PDF download, then there shouldn't be any problems. If you're sharing a 'canva template' link, then they would have access to everything you put there but when they download they're going to have to pay for the pro elements in there.

Hi there! I don't. I just save them to the size that I am selling them in (i.e. 5"x7", 16"x20", etc.). If they are printing at a store, they set it up so that it prints to the correct size. If they print at home, they just have to set it up properly so that it prints to the right size as well. I hope that helps
How do you prevent people from editing one of your designs and reselling it themselves?
Good question. You can't. But you need to have legal docs ready to go. I had a lawyer draft terms of use for my products and take down notices when I find my products are being used inappropriately.

Etsy lets you upload up to 5 files. You can upload one by one.
So when people buy the digital planner, they have to use Canva to use it? the file will take them straight to Canva?
If you send them a Canva template link, then yes. For digital planners you want to send them a PDF file.

What if I want to make printables that are not templates and sell them the planner pages I make. Do you have a video explaining that process? Can I share as a template and make the PDF front page with the link or is there a different way of doing this? I don't want to make the planner pages editable. Your video was great by the way...

I'm not familiar with uploading to KDP. I just upload one PDF file on there.

I am about to start an Etsy printable shop and due to the fact that I will be using licensed clip art, I would like to sell and send my printables in a way that customers are NOT able to edit or extract anything from the end product/printable, for example: the clip arts or fonts. Hi there! I sell printable wall art as well! To be honest, as digital artists we always run the risk of people taking our designs and re-selling them. There's no way to 100% protect your work. The best way is make sure you include a copyright notice in your listings stating that your products are for personal use only so that if there ever is an issue, you have that to back you up. I hope that helps
Are people able to reuse templates after they purchase them? So if someone bought 1 pdf template of a budget tracker for example would they be able to use that same one over and over by just copying and pasting onto a new document once they paid for it?

It depends on what their purpose is. Do they want to use Canva's templates for personal use? Then that's fine. Do they want to sell? Then they need to make their own. Canva does not allow for the reselling of their designs. I design and sell Canva templates, but I also buy Canva templates from other people.

I don't know off the top of my head. But a simple PDF is pretty small

It depends what software you're using to make the pdf. You can purchase clipart

Include one of each and let the customer duplicate. It's the best way to not make a huge file.
So when you put your digital products online do you still put the copyright and disclaimers inside the book like you would if you was to sell a book in a store

The link takes me to your website but the free download is not easily accessible. I’m not slow when it comes to downloads, etc. but it’s not clear on your site on how to download this template. How do I sell digital downloads from canva free version without each customer seeing the previous customers edits? I want each customer to see the original item at all times. Is that possible?
That's not possible. I think it's also against Canva's TOUs.

Hi, I want to sell designs and offer PDF and PNG files. For the PDF, what is the standard size? I see some etsy listings where it's random sizes, and then other PDF listings don't share a size at all. Does it matter what size for PDFS when creating on canva? Is 8.5 x 11 good?
Is no standard size. A lot of people prefer us letter size. That one and A5 as well as happy planner classic, are the most popular ones.

Well, if you sell a PDF that you exported from canva there is no way they can remove the watermarks.

Does Canva charge the customer a fee for any Pro designs that are in the download the bought on Etsy. I have the Pro account.
If you're selling templates, yes. If you're selling a PDF, no.
