Today I come to talk to you about the role that clowns play in the healing process of patients in hospitals, how far their work goes and we will discover what the life of a hospital clown is like. Julián will tell us about his routines, his experiences and will bring us closer to his world so that we understand the value of his profession

Many pilot studies, such as those at Columbia University, have focused on the effectiveness of clowns as distracting presences during invasive procedures in a pediatric oncology clinic.

It is still a very undervalued profession in most countries. But I can assure you that it works and if it is properly coordinated within the healthcare institution, it can be a very powerful tool to humanize the healthcare environment.
