The municipality of Binalbagan has been a witness to the birth and evolution of Negrense culture across spans of time. The town’s colorful and extensive history is all written in the few surviving architectural masterpieces such as the Binalbagan Mansion. Once home to Sabas Locsin and his wife Carmen Yulo-Locsin, it is now the centerpiece of Binalbagan Catholic College under the supervision of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
