Small note for you if you do what he says there is some problems like you won't see a subtitle eventhough if it's enabled and while playing with 2x speed at start you will see some pink screen and you won't see any video .When you change the speed or volume you won't see to what volume or speed it is changed to.This is just i found out after doing what he says and i think you can find a lot many problems.I just found out because i changed to default settings because i am not comfortable with this.

The problem is in these old videos is I didn't speak in them. If I did it would of cleared up a lot of issues.

@@AspirationHD Ohh.I got it.But i have some problem with vlc everything is good in vlc but when i play videos at 2x speed sometimes in the middle of video my computer isn't responding by clicking any button in mouse, typing any combination of characters.Again i need to press power off button and need to start again from the beginning.That's the problem.Is there any way you can help me so that i can fix this.

@@watchlistsclips3196 Close VLC player by using Alt + F4 on your keyboard. Much better than shutting down your PC and restarting it.

@@watchlistsclips3196 As for the VLC player not responding, it could be anything. When a Windows program stops responding, it can be caused by many different problems. An issue with the program and hardware, lack of system resources, or software bugs can cause Windows programs to stop responding.

A few options for you to try. 1. Reboot your device. 2. Update your system software and apps. 3. Force the app to quit (or close). 4. Clear up some storage space. 5. Remove problem apps. 6. Reset your phone.

Damn, I was really hoping this would work for me, but it didn't. The video still freezes at seemingly random places. But the audio keeps going. I've also had VLC lock up my entire computer for a couple minutes, even the mouse.

Increase Cache Values. Open Tools > Preferences [CTRL + P]. In Show settings select the All. In Advanced settings, click on the parent option that says Input / Codecs. In Input / Codecs scroll down to the options under the heading Advanced. Change the values for File caching (ms) from 300 to a higher value like 1000 or 2000. The value is in milliseconds.

Everything except directdraw worked when i used directdraw i got a green screen on VLC but i could hear the audio still playing. I left it automatic and everything worked great. I could play movie files just fine but i got freezing when i tried to play recorded gameplay videos i had but since i increased the cache now all video files play jsut fine
