Pastor Gebrel I greet you. You have done well for Mr Muyideen and others you have been helping. I won't say you should free him. Mr Muyideen need support till he will change his garage mentality. He need to be guarded. if he did anything wrong. You can correct him or guard. But you mentioned you beat him with caln which is wrong his an adult and married for that matter. Sir regardless what happened is not right for you to caln him or other adults of age 40 plus. If the person is less than 40 and is married such person should not be caln either male or female.
Muyideen is used to street life. Agbala Gabriel was the person that wanted to change him but Muyideen isn't ready to be changed. Christian life is not part of him. He could not bless so he is so contented with his previous and new life. Leave him and let him be. If he want to change,let God touch is life.

I want to correct some people's notions that Pastor shouldn't have caned him,it seems people don't understand what REHABILITATION entails which canning is part of it and e.t.c...This Pastor must have used other methodology durind the REHABILITATION processes,which proofed abortive hence canning was an opinion,our culture allows it and moreover if an officer slap him will he carry his load out of Nigeria?,even in kings palaces in Nigeria adult are still canned....Adulthood is more of responsibility than age related.
