The 2 characters that interested me most were Caine and Mr Nobody. and you described all the character traits of Mr Nobody which I agree with. I know that Caine and John have worked together in the past, and they have mutual respect. Their fight at the middle of the movie showed them being equals. Even the ending (spoiler) was amazing. That gave the quote "A man who clings to death- Lives, A man who clings to life- Dies" I would love to see a prequal of this and see how John Wick and Caine met each other and worked together.
I have my own theory Mr.Nobody (since John Wick 1) took notice of the random gunfights and dead bodies that have no police attention. Started investigating why and wrote everything down in his journal till he finally found out there's an assassin underworld, joined it (probably because he could earn more money from wherever he's coming from) and that's why nobody knows him. He's simply new to the underworld that he had to find out about on his own.
Yeah you get a strong indication that he’s been following the “underworld” very closely, like he has sketches of John, markings and seals of the high table, the marking related to the Bowery king, etc. etc. he has intel on everyone/everything
I assumed he was Sofias son. That was where he got the dog and why he knew so much about John. He wanted revenge for John getting his mother killed by the high table and figured he could get rich at the same time.
He had a chance to kill John work and he didn't and I like his reaction when he was watching The duel at the end of the movie. We need more of this character
Using that same logic you can say Marcus from the first John Wick is more deadlier because he had John Wick in his scope twice. Silly take. There’s a reason John Wick has the rep others dont.
Mr. Nobody is the de facto successor to john's legacy, it is satisfying in a storytelling perspective, and it makes sense based on his character and journey through the movie, he paralels a LOT of Jardani's storypoints on the franchise, the dog, the sacrifice to the high table, the rebel attitude, the goal focus. In conclusion, i want a Mr. Nobody show
Everything about "Mr. Nobody" is cool ... He clearly is the type of dude that always has an ACE up his sleeve. He plays it cool, calm and collective and also under promises and over delivers. I enjoyed this character and wish to see more of him .... the dogs are freaking awesome.
He could be this universe's chance at a Mandalorian/modern western film. He's a bounty hunter and this world is full of interesting characters for him to hunt. Dude is also insanely skilled to even keep up with older legends like Caine and John. I'm getting recent ex military, probably special forces vibes from him. It would explain how his dog is so well trained and how his methodology in a firefight still feels textbook. His gear is also pretty standard telling me he can still grab some upgrades down the line which is exciting.
Wick described him correctly from the first meeting. He's a tracker. He can accurately track down a target and wear down the target through many skirmishes unlike Wick who prefers to finish in one decisive battle. Wick is like a shock troop, preferring to engage in close combat while Mr Nobody is like a mountaineer or ski infantry who would rather engage from a distance if possible.

I loved watching the movie and knowing that's what they were going for when he replied that his name was nobody. I'd like to think the duel theme was a motif/homage to the duel of the good the bad and the ugly as well.
I always thought that he was tied to the movie Nobody since thats how he represents himself, also in the movie Nobody its never really explained who is Hutch and his background is not shown, also I had made the connection because one of the movie director David Leitch Directed the movie and also created Atomic Blonde which is basically a female John Wick in West Berlin. Always so cool when assassins have an ethical or moral code in how they operate. I really like Mr Nobody. Just as much as I like Caine who has his own sense of ethical moral. All these characters can have their own movie spin-offs. But we all rather focus on John Wick.
My initial thought when the character was introduced was that Mr. Nobody was a callsign of sorts; like 007. Or perhaps the Bob Odenkirk character of Nobody. Written by the same guy, which leaves for them to both exist in the same Wickaverse.
If anyone of you are following the "Payday" game lore, which interestingly John Wick is a acquaintance to the Payday Gang, Wick and a particular character Nicolas, alias "Chains", were former comrades during their time in the military. Which would explain why Mr Nobody would know of John's antics and tactics in greater detail than any other regular tracker would to demand such a high compensation for his service. And also, during the scene where the knife was plunged into Mr Nobody's hand, similar to John, he wore his watch facing inwards suggesting military background. So why would John possibly not recognize Mr Nobody? Possibly because they were just former comrades and not exactly friends, and according to the Payday lore Nicolas a.k.a "Chains" due to his itchy trigger finger and generally unreliable personality caused him to get kicked out fairly fast. Chains had then left the Navy and went into the world of mercenary troops, offering his military expertise to the highest bidder
The only issue with that is that Damien Poitier, Chains' VA and live action actor, is a professional stuntman already and would probably jump at the opportunity for a role in the film.
The marquis wouldn't stand a chance if the entire payday gang decided to help John. The High Table might be mysterious but not to Jimmy replacing himself with clones level of being mysterious. Which also explained why the High Table couldn't send more assassins after Wick. The cocaine addicted mad scientist alone would burn through dozens of their best men before even breaking a sweat. And then there's Jacket. He and John probably contributed to 20% of the gang Killcount. The moment Bain declares war against the High Table on their network after hacking it, nobody would dare to chase after the 50 million dollars bounty because they wouldn't live long enough to see John's face much less pulling the trigger on him when there are 23 murderous clowns escorting John towards the Marquis headquarter.
This was art. Beautiful violence. Amazing acting. The visuals I loved. Dragon breath shotgun and the concrete steps were my favorite scenes. Donnie Yen best performance ever. Mr Noboody and the tall Latin assassin was on point. Bill Skargaurd needs his own franchise. I wanna see some spinoffs
Denzel's and Liam's characters in The Equalizer and Taken can be assimilated in John Wick's assassinverse as retired High Table members or as the previous "Baba Yagas" of The Continental. Their ages and skillsets would fit well in that storyline.
He's a Tracker. He's paralleled with John Wick in a lot of ways, but in 2 ways that stand out to me. 1st, the hand injury. 2nd, his name. Mr. Nobody. John Wicks Character is influenced in part by The Man With No Name played by Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Trilogy. And obviously, Mr Nobody is inspired by a Spaghetti Western film, "My name is Nobody" Mr. Nobody is his own character, but clearly a character meant to fulfill the shoes of John.

And as a result of her helping wick, Sophia went into hiding (Since her whereabouts are unknown) and she took one dog and gave him the other. That would explain his fighting style, his dog handling skills, and his in-depth knowledge of John wick and where to find him. After Sophia helped John, Mr. Nobody lost everything and is trying to rebuild his life by killing John.
If you pay real close attention to him he’s very good with tracking I think his dog helps him with that not only that he can draw really well & he dresses like a painter I think that’s how he blends in with society that’s just my theory

My Name is Nobody (Il mio nome è Nessuno, also known as Lonesome Gun) is a 1973 Spaghetti Western comedy film, directed by Tonino Valerii and Sergio Leone.
Mr. Nobody and Caine were two of my favorite characters outside of John Wick. I need to see more of Mr. Nobody. He could be Sophia's brother and the dog could be her dog he rescued because she's in trouble.
I get a lot of modern day cowboy vibes from Mr nobody . A Loner with a Dogg also reminds me of the road warrior . Just his character alone is enough for his own solo movie
john wick 5 should happen. it should go like this: Koji is not actually dead, John obviously isn't. Caine, Nobody an Koji's daughter and even Koji himself go for the table. shit hits the fan and they're all in trouble. John appears like a badass superhero and saves the day like a total boss😎 they can leave some of the table members for another movie. but to me that would be epic! i'm a huge fan of Hiroyuki Sanada and he got his time to shine in JW4 but i really hope Caine helped him disappear making everybody think he was dead so the table won't go after him 🤔
While it's a fine idea, it's too fantastical(for a series still trying to have some roots in realit) imo. We literally saw Koji dying, and people that die tend to stay dead in the JW universe. Plus, one of the largest aspects of John Wick is that the only way he'll ever escape the assassin life is by dying, and JW 4 feels like a perfect end to his journey, at least for me. I wouldn't mind more spinoffs/prequels, but reviving John seems a bit too Fast and Furious for me
Mr. Nobody must have been a stock-broker or a businessman, as he bides his time for the bounty to increase like a stock price, and he goes through great strides to negotiate with the High Table on the price of the bounty.
After part 3, once Nobody was introduced, did anyone else start counting how often the dog would go after people's nuts? Me and my GF did. Also too bad Odenkirk beat them to the movie title Nobody, even though I love that movie almost as much as these.
I think that actor have very high ambitions, the whole John Wick franchise began as a homage to stunt doubles, with high action but with a subtle and deep philosophy under it, it was nearly cancelled by the studios, and released directly to DVD, sure, the franchise had grow large, but that because the directors and the writers have the freedom that they need to write good stories, putting high price actors in this franchise would undermine it roots, John Wick franchise not need A Class actors to be good, but actors that actually known what they are doing, and known how to do stunts.
He reminds me of someone else who also had the chance to take the shot on John and didn’t (Marcus willem defoes character from John wick 1 ) Marcus also had the chance to take a shot and was older so it would make sense if he trained mr nobody in secret which would also explain why he knows so much about John and the underworld in his notebook and his training maybe Mr nobody has a connection to Marcus and he thinks John is responsible for his death which is why he’s going after him
Admit it, the bulletproof backpack was one oif the coolest things ever

It totally is, and I don’t know how no one else but you and I can see this fact.
Yea that movie was fire you could see when john wick blew that helicopter up with a rpg
Haha fake news
If Mr. Nobody truly needed the money to save Sophia's life then you would think that he would have to kill Wick when he got the chance as there is no other way to $40 million quickly.
i THINK HE NEEDED THE MONEY TO HELP SOPHIA SETTING UP HER OWN CONTINENTAL, BUT HE HAS MORALS.. AND DECIDED THAT HE COULD GET THE MONEY ELSEWHERE
aLSO THE DUDE TRIED TO KILL HIS DOG AND JOHN WICK SAVED THE GOOD BOY AND HE WAS SAD THAT JOHN WICK WAS ABOUT TO DIE

Yes Spin Off...Wick Fan Always 💯
My Name is Nobody (Il mio nome è Nessuno, also known as Lonesome Gun) is a 1973 Spaghetti Western comedy film, directed by Tonino Valerii and Sergio Leone.
i like how Mr.Nobody didnt kill John just because John saved his dog
Shamier Anderson is a very smart man. I like his ideas about potential plot and potential antagonists.
Mr. Nobody needs his own spin off
He needs to play will smith and slap Chris tucker hahahaha
Mr. Nobody and Caine were two of my favorite characters outside of John Wick. I need to see more of Mr. Nobody. He could be Sophia's brother and the dog could be her dog he rescued because she's in trouble.
mr nobody is ex military i’m pretty sure
I like the idea that Sophia trained him, mentored him, in dogun-fu. But I don't think they are a relationship type thing.
At first i thought he was the younger version of Bob Odenkirk's brother in the movie NOBODY.
It would be interesting to do a break away film as Mr. Nobody as the main character.
I get a lot of modern day cowboy vibes from
Mr nobody . A Loner with a Dogg also reminds me of the road warrior . Just his character alone is enough for his own solo movie
His character is a literal walking easter egg to the 1973 western movie called (my name is nobody)
john wick 5 should happen. it should go like this: Koji is not actually dead, John obviously isn't. Caine, Nobody an Koji's daughter and even Koji himself go for the table. shit hits the fan and they're all in trouble. John appears like a badass superhero and saves the day like a total boss😎
they can leave some of the table members for another movie. but to me that would be epic!
i'm a huge fan of Hiroyuki Sanada and he got his time to shine in JW4 but i really hope Caine helped him disappear making everybody think he was dead so the table won't go after him 🤔
While it's a fine idea, it's too fantastical(for a series still trying to have some roots in realit) imo. We literally saw Koji dying, and people that die tend to stay dead in the JW universe. Plus, one of the largest aspects of John Wick is that the only way he'll ever escape the assassin life is by dying, and JW 4 feels like a perfect end to his journey, at least for me. I wouldn't mind more spinoffs/prequels, but reviving John seems a bit too Fast and Furious for me
He is a great character.
Mr. Nobody must have been a stock-broker or a businessman, as he bides his time for the bounty to increase like a stock price, and he goes through great strides to negotiate with the High Table on the price of the bounty.
Stock broker?
I think he said, he (Mr. Nobody) is his dog's emotional support animal and not the other way round.
High-key, Mr. Nobody reminded me of Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear. Thats the highest compliment i can give him.
Well when John goes after the High Table, then I see a 3 Musketeers thing. John, Caine, Mr. Nobody vs The High Table.
If he said that in a interview, he's got great taste for villains. I'd love to see Mr. Nobody vs The equalizer/ taken
What would be the point of going against each other? Internet people
@@naturesmusic1171 I guess your one that sits back and reads post and thinks fictional movies are real. Lol, what blockbuster did you direct? 😂
hell yes spin off is needed.
