What I find to be the biggest challenge is trust. In a world where violence is so common, not just physical but all the underlying mental and emotional violence that is not easy to see or understand but it's there, I believe most of us has created strong defences just to get by. Fear creates violence, violence creates fear, fear creates defences of various kinds, which leads to more violence. It's a vicious circle, and very difficult to get out of. Again, thank you😊🙏
Thank you for this share, it's very insightful and spot on. This ongoing cycle of fear and violence seems never ending yet the course reminds us, "Tolerance for pain may be high, but it is not without limit. Eventually everyone begins to recognize, however dimly, that there must be a better way." It's built into the dream.

Nothing we see is real. We are spirit experiencing the world in a body. Fear is from the ego. There is only love. We were sent here because we are loved. We shall experience and learn and understand and hopefully, most of all, love others and love our Father who sent us here. It is like if your father gave you a comic book to read…it is entertaining, sometimes frightening but it is meaningless. We must remember that. Our father gave us this world to experience . I know that it is a gift. I know that I should seek to behave rightly. whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Thank you my Father. You are the vine and I am a branch of you…may I produce many, many leaves and cast many seeds. 😊

The clue is that it's meaningless because of the one looking, right?
Can you share a little bit more about what you mean?
@@beyond.matrix I think I meant that the one seeing the meaningless world is the ego that literally sees everything from it's programming, all from the past. So nothing it sees can be reality. That's how I understand it. I guess then my question would be, if truth shines through at any given moment, is the seeing in that moment 100% truthful? Or is there some truth and some untruth simultaneously (this question is probably more mind chatter)?
What you perceive in any moment is based on the past. Perception is always subject to error in contrast to knowledge which is total because it is one with what is known. It that regard we can say that the only thing that can be truthfully known 100% is the Self. Anything that is seen as apart from the self must be an illusion.
@@beyond.matrix Exactly right. I think that's what's meant in Zen with not-knowing or beginners mind. It seems to be the only possible way to dispel the ego, to see that absolutely everything it sees, thinks, 'knows', feels in every moment is 100% false, so not to be taken seriously. Even though I'm not capable of seeing this yet in every moment, what a blessing it is to even have this knowledge at all
