Greetings from Uruguay, You are an awesome Teacher, thanks
You’re really good bro. And I like to see your face like “catch me if you can”.
But it’s a challenge and that help a lot.
Thanks again.
Thanks so much for watching and playing along Jose! I do enjoy offering a healthy challenge alongside the assessable lessons that I offer on ukulele. Happy playing & go rock the house with this tune! 😃🎶🤙
I like this riff
A new video from Stu. Whoo-hoo! You always brings a smile to my face!
Thanks Merry! I'm so glad you're enjoying the uke lessons & tips :) Subscribe for more vids @ goo.gl/rMXsnw
Thanks Stu, a fab tutorial. You are so calm, relaxed, so lovely 😊 x
Thanks Linden! Play on...
Holee what a riff to have, slow or not. It does set the mood/ memory of the song for a lot of people & those who only respect guitars " may" certainly respect this on the uke if they are at all honest with themselves.
I hear you! One riff at time, we change the world ;-)
Hi Stu,
I happened upon your channel whilst searching for Jazz chords for the ukulele and I am so happy to have found you.
I started learning about 4 years ago (with no previous musical knowledge/experience). I feel that to non-musicians, the ukulele gets a reputation for being a joke instrument/toy and the much uglier cousin to the guitar. A lot of videos/tutorials online continue to pedal this stereotype by reducing songs/music to the most simple chord progression and strum patterns (no criticism here, I also learnt that way) which are very far removed from the originals and lack feeling.
What I love about you, is that you show the variety, complexity, seriousness and beauty of this wonderful little instrument. I found your videos at the perfect time as I was getting bored and demotivated by playing the same styles of music. You have inspired me and now I will be able to learn jazz, blues and lots of other styles! I am super excited and can't wait to binge watch all of your videos.
Thank you so much for all of this. You play the ukulele beautifully and with more feeling and intuition than anyone else I've seen. You are my ukulele guru.
Best wishes. X
Hello Linz, thank you for your very kind and thoughtful comment... Apologies this reply is so late I have been on the road for so many weeks and it's hard to keep up with everything ;-) I hope that my videos are serving you well and that your music journey as an enjoyable one… I do have some videos on jazz chords at my CZcams channel and at my Patreon page www.patreon.com/ukulelezen
Take good care & perhaps our paths will cross in person at a uke fest or one of my live events someday. I can tell you are a deep person. Wishing you well, Stu

Thank you Tara!
Awesome as usual
Thanks for watching Lynda!
That was absolutely beautiful ❤️
Thanks Barbz! Happy jamming :-) Plz share the video with a uke playin' friend...
Your G sounds different than my G. What's up? Oh and I love how you say, "Take a breath." How did you know I was not breathing?!? lol ❤️
I remind myself to pay attention to my breathing about every 3-5 min ;-) You may have high G string tuning...I have a Low G tuning...you can swap the high string out for a low G :-)
Thanks Stu, great as always.
Thanks for watching Tammy!
Cool
Thanks Aleksei! FYI: There are song sheets, tabs and other resources for my CZcams ukulele lessons at my Patreon Page: www.patreon.com/ukulelezen
Very nice, Stu, but I often have to transpose in order to be able to sing in a reasonable key.
So on a standard ukulele (C6 tuning), I do Brown-Eyed Girl in C, with the riff on the center two strings. Works nicely, and is easy for beginners to follow along. If I was playing a baritone, I'd use the same finger positions you use in this video, to stay in C.
-Kurt
Key of C is a nice place to place the riff as well! I chose G to match the original Key :) Play on Kurt.
😍😍
Happy playing! 😊🎶
So good like every video. Btw i saw the three littld birds video qnd i rlt dont understand how it sounds soooo good with you. I cant block the chordq after slamming sucks :c
The timing of Left and muting takes a while to get - I'd say just be patent while you develop the skill. It also has a bit to do with the speed of the strumming finger moving through the strings...whipping the strings just a little bit faster makes a BIG difference in the sound! Thanks for being here Victor!
Written tab would be helpful.
Didn't know rob sheinder played uke 🤣
Ha! Nice one! :-)
What are the two notes you are playing, before you go back to the riff? F & D7? F7 and G? I can't hear what you are saying and the fingering doesn't look familiar, sigh.
Pleas! Every song the man and the woman sing not the same tone. Can You give one more after difrent tone for ( summer time for a man sing is: Em and a woman sing is: Am) I hope You understand what I mean.
I hate this damn start riff I can't stop touching the other string 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
