I started my wicks just like you, I twisted my hair let them lock up and grow and got about 65+ dreads, let them get like 4-5 inches and sectioned my dreads and wicked them up with only hair ties and I have 7 wicks and they’re all the same size as yours. I’m subbing bro💯I’m sticking with the wicks💯and you’re ver specific when you explain stuff in your vids.

I’m from Florida 🌴💯 but any product we can use to keep our scalp moisturized and prevent a dry scalp
You can just use a little bit of oil but I didn’t use oil when I started my dreads. After a while, your scalp will stop getting dry even if you don’t use any moisturizer. Dry scalp is just a part of the locking process
TheMunchBowl I use Jamaican black castor oil but after like 2 weeks my hair starts getting dry I started my dreads in April I had a long fro so my dreads are already a lil long. And ohh so it’s normal then it’ll go away I got u

Can anyone realistically hold a decent corporate job with this kind of hairstyle? This hairstyle wreaks of, I'm impoverished.
Everyone isn’t built to be live off of other people’s perception of obtaining a job. I may not have my dreads but it doesn’t have much to do with anything. I have neck tattoos and all and still able to maintain a job as a business analyst as well as a position as a mortgage Servicer. It doesn’t make much of a difference when the person is proven to be skilled and knowledgeable. I know plenty with locs and tattoos that have probably made a lot more money than anyone you know.
