Adam Rupp is not making the electric guitar sound, it's Chance doing that.
Came here to say the same thing. In the frame where he paused near the end to praise Rupp for it, you can see Chance actually doing it.

If you watch when they are sitting on the wall snapping their fingers, watch how Tim is very conscientiously snapping. He says he is very bad at snapping to the beat, and Rob was screwing with him trying to get him to mess up.
Yeah, there's a song they recorded in a church -- I'm blanking on the name, but I'm sure somebody will provide it -- where they're all snapping and Tim messes up and Adam cracks up next to him. I'm wondering how many takes they tried and if Adam's laughing because Tim had messed up so many previous takes.

For an older song with an extreme party vibe I highly recommend House Party. You won't regret it. ( But everytime I watch the video I get this urge to check my pillows to make sure there are still feathers in them) LOL
Try Everything from the Movie Zootopia and it was Chances Official 1st video as a member of the group. He did appear in a couple videos before Chris left because he was already friends with them, but try everything was his debut .
There is a video they did to announce Chris's plan to retire and it also Introduced Chance to the Home Fries. These guys are Classy every step of the way. Can't wait to see you react to Try everything maybe even a double react ? There is a from the vault BTS for Try Everything also so maybe if you are up to it ? This is such a feel good song! Great cover of Justin Timberlake's version from the movie "Trolls". These guys give me so much joy. They are my daily go to when I need a lift. Especially love the breakdown at the end where they are all making cool sounds with their voices.

It gets a little confusing because there are more tracks than band members, so you can see Chance singing while you hear the "guitar" in some shots, but he's also the one doing the "guitar". He was doing it on camera during the "instrumental" where you paused to compliment Rupp 🤣. I haven't seen this song live, but they openly use live sampling and looping during performances so they can flesh out the sound.

In a recent interview, Austin said, I can't imagine anyone not liking Rob. Tim use to introduce Rob as the lovable huggable Rob Lundquist. I'll tell you a personal story. My first Home Free VIP (2014) during the photo with the guys --I went to the middle of the line like everyone else. which was between Tim and Austin. I was disappointed because I really wanted to get a chance to hug Rob. When they finish taking the picture, without thinking about it. I ran to the end of the line where Rob was standing and gave him a big hug. lol I was embarrassed and left the stage quickly. Only to see Tim run across the stage to give Rob a hug too. Which both mortified me and made me laugh but that's Tim for you. God, I love these guys.

I love the music, but I have to admit I kept looking for the trolls. ( LOL) Now seriously the musicality is amazing, and Chance is so surprising with those guitar sounds and hitting the high notes. The woman with Austin was his then g/f, the woman with Rob is his wife Kelsey, the woman with Tim is his (now) wife Jenika Marion - Adam's wife is perhaps a little camera shy (she's rarely in the videos but does appear in the bar scene at the end of "Friends in Low Places"), I'm not sure if Chance's (now wife) Sami is in there as well. The big white dog is Tim's dog Satchmo (he's in other videos as well - notably "Sunday Best").
They had a lot of their crew in this video, but i didn't see Sami. I don't believe she and Chance were dating at this time, so she wouldn't have been paired up with him.

Yes, it's definitely him, this was a FifGen video back from when he was still working with Jimmy Bates mainly as a videographer, before he and McKenzie switched to concentrating on their own music. Jimmy's in the video as well as a number of friends and family.

Sorry Justin Timberlake, you did a great song and sang very well (I had the CD myself), but I like this performance better anyway. Because Home Free is incredibly good!!!!! It's unbelievable that this is a cappela. The great vocals of Rob and Austin, the bone-feeling bass of Tim, the inhuman vocal percussion of Adam, the vocal sound that Chance creates, the harmonies, the background vocals, not to mention the fun they have and pass on to us. I can't stop dancing even though I'm sitting on the couch😄

Chance is actually making that string sound. He also does it in Man of Constant Sorrow. Yes, there are couples shown here. The woman with Tim is his wife. I don't know where they were in their relationship when they made this video. Austin is with his ex-girlfriend in this one.

I just watched a video comparing Tim's and Chance's ranges....and I gotta tellya, they're only off by a half-octave or less. Chance was the bass in at least one previous group, and he's flexing his high range lately, too.
