My sister‘s boyfriend got her a ring without asking her about anything and she is totally unsatisfied and hates the ring but she still copes with it😂 but i think it really is better to tell him what you like
My husband proposed with a traditional necklace of his birthplace, I don't think an engagement ring is a must have since you get one soon after at the wedding
I personally don't mind the ring.. Mine is gorgeous but any ring would be ok with me because for me isn't about showing it off or how big the rock is but about the commitment.

Ikr. It shows that they are so on the same page and don’t have egos coming in between what they have. I mean isn’t it great to be able to communicate with your partner without inhibition that it might be misunderstood? If there were slightest of doubt then she wouldn’t have asked/expressed him in the first place.
Company Name and it’s definitely a plus if you are particularly picky. I’m not a jewelry wearer and don’t like flashy so having some input in my ring was reallyyyyy nice.

Me and my husband used to walk past the window all the time to look at all the sparkling jewelry and ine day I seen this ring a was like omg it's so beautiful. Never though anything of it, and I never though he was actually paying attention. 1 year later he proposed with the exact same ring. Turns out he put a deposit on the next day and I was blissfully unaware.
I havent watched modern family in forever but I cant see her as an adult in my head...she seems so young to me still to the point where her makeup looks out of place on her 😂
