I've been using the hada labo premium for a couple of years now and absolutely wouldn't be without it as it keeps my 60 something skin hydrated and plump xx
Love the Hada Labo. I buy online too, its in super drug now but not sure its as good. Only just discovered Beauty Hags and love the videos thanks girls x
Skinfood is Korean, they do an amazing Propolis ampoule/serum - as recommended by Gothamista. I love Hada Labo and Japanese Kiss Me Heroine mascara which never goes clumpy or smudgey on me - unlike Charlotte Tilbury, Max Factor, Maybelline et al! The best sheet masks I have tried are Leaders but I wouldn't dream of using anything with placenta!
Japanese mascaras ARE well known! Lisa Eldridge has talked about them for years! Lots of tubing mascaras cause it's humid AF there in the summer. (I lived in Japan for 5 years :)
I just wanna say you are my favorite right now...I'm in awe of your knowledge and have been learning so much plus your banter makes me feel like I'm sitting with you two and Having a great time...thank you for making these videos, i enjoy them so much❤
I buy my Hada Labo from YesStyle. Luv the cleansing oil and the UV white cream. The white cream is wonderful under makeup and contains excellent sunscreen
Gothamista gives great info on K & J Beauty. You don’t have to do 10 steps either, I use about three essences and they really make a difference - ‘don’t knock it til you try it!’
I have switched from the ordinary HA to the handa labo one after watching your video the other month. I’ve also switched to Curel gel cleanser it’s amazing I saw you and Caroline hirons did a video after I brought it so was super chuffed I’d found something myself! Watching your vids has taught me well 💗💗🙏

Love this video but the title should really be called the pros and cons of k brands as almost every brand that jo had are actually Korean skincare. Skinfood, it’s Skin, Benton and the shop that Nadine mentioned (nature republic) are all Korean brands. However it’s nice to see Jo’s interest in Asian brands :) I love k-beauty/J-beauty (half my routine is Asian skincare) and I absolutely adore Hada Labo! Keep up the good work and can’t wait for the next video!
Amended! You're so right - Tokyo Beauty Haul. Amended and apologies for any offence - I basically love anything that comes from Japan or Korea - obsessed.
Jo Jones oh no not at all :) I wasn’t offended in the least. It’s nice to see your enthusiasm for different brands! I love anything Asian skincare-wise so it’s always nice to see people talking about it! I’m glad you liked Japan, I love it too. The beauty hags give their no sense take on J & K beauty. That premise sets us up for their hilarious nonsensical take on All beauty products. Nadine says exactly what she thinks, and Jo is so brave to try just about anything. They have changed what products I use on my skin and I don’t take myself too seriously now, either. There is always something new to try, just look at Jo’s hair. Placenta? No, just noooooo.
I love both K and J beauty on my super dry/eczema prone/menopausal skin. I do use toners, essences, ampoules, serums, sheet masks etc. The products are often very affordable, lots of the ranges don't have fragrance, really good ingredients like EGF, NMF, copper peptides, humectants etc and wonderful textures. I'm able to get all the cutting science based ingredients without spending an absolute fortune, so that can't be bad. A lot of the brands are cruelty free and some are vegan. All the sheet masks are K beauty. Dr Ci Labo is the number 1 medical skincare in Japan. Hence, they’re really good especially for sensitive skin. I love Hada Labo’s Gold premium essence as it’s got 5 different HA molecules.
I can’t believe you haven’t already tired the hado labo gold HA Nadine. It’s amazing. Got mine from amazon- took approx 100 years to arrive but soooo worth it xxx

The Hado Labo premium lotion has 5 different molecular weight of hyaluronic acid. It’s well loved, and easy to find in Japanese/Asian markets in the states.
I’ve been using the Silly George lash serum for a few months now and it’s brilliant! A much cheaper lash serum and so many people have been asking about my lashes and even my husband has commented how long they are!!
@@joljonesbeautychannel haha aw bless you but haha well I live in London and float around hotels so let's do drinky haha. Seriously though. I mean it. Your eyes and cheekbones are something else and you worry so much about hair density. No need x I also think whilst you look great with a tan and wearing bronzers, that you underlying light skin is so pretty. Best
I also have the Hada Labo Premium Lotion, I bought it from Yesstyle.com, I wouldn't be without it, just beautiful and love trying all the different J and K beauty, I mostly buy what is most highly rated and most of it is unscented. Another fun, interesting video, thank you ladies.
Great video as always. I use the Hado Labo red line and white line. I love them. As to eyelash serums .. I find they darken my eyelids so stopped using them and started using organic castor oil. Works just as well as serums but cheaper and probably better for you. You should do an experiment .. one person uses Rapid lash and the other one use the castor oil. ..? Xxx
Nadine, Love your hair, looks so so good. Can you plz do a video on hands and nails and elbows, creams, lotions and potions plus fillers, no use having a youthful face and old wrinkly hands lol x
Greetings from chilly canada!Love your chats together. Probably won't try any of this stuff but it is interesting, isn't it? Blue or gray hair...still gorgeous!
Ha ha, knew it was only a matter of time before Jo came on with blue hair!🤣 Really feel like I missed a trick years ago because I used to live in Japan and I ignored all the J-Beauty (apart from mascara) because my Japanese wasn’t up to reading the labels and Google translate didn’t exist then. Anyway, here in Germany on Amazon it’s possible to get the real Hada Labo stuff and I’ve been using that advanced lotion for a year since Sam Chapman recommended it. It is such good value for money and my skin is in the best condition it’s been for a long time. xx
Isn't snail secretion one of the main ingredient of your beloved cc cream from it cosmetics ? I really enjoy your videos and I love your wonderful duo !!
J skincare is actually quite simple. At most 4/5 products. The whole 10 steps and multiple layers is more Korean.
I've been using the hada labo premium for a couple of years now and absolutely wouldn't be without it as it keeps my 60 something skin hydrated and plump xx

The Hado Labo premium lotion has 5 different molecular weight of hyaluronic acid. It’s well loved, and easy to find in Japanese/Asian markets in the states.
im a All Blacks supporter but, im happy South Africa won the rugby.
You two have so much fun with each other.
I’ve been using the Silly George lash serum for a few months now and it’s brilliant! A much cheaper lash serum and so many people have been asking about my lashes and even my husband has commented how long they are!!
Love these videos - has me in stitches 😂
Thank you Coco x
I think Jo would look so beautiful with short almost buzzed hair.
You're my favourite person ever! x
Lov Japan, lov Japanese drugstores, lov Japanse skincare💕
same same same xx
Looking forward to the pre- and post-party mask video
Jo the hair is uneven I know, but that colour is effing stunning on you!!! Its like a space platinum mermaid.
Yay!! Love it when you do longer videos! 😊😊😊
I’m with Jo...Japanese mascaras are the best! I love a tubing mascara and theirs are the best
So so good!!!
Yes, lets go shopping video sounds great!! Great video.
Jo I pierced my ears with self piercers way back in the day. (late 1960's). ouch! lol xoxo
You can buy the the empty sheet mask, and then use your current essences of serum to make your own mask so it much less waste.
You can get the premium Hada lobo from Amazon. It takes a while for it to arrive but it's worth the wait x
Need to add that I do love you. I first found out about Hada Labo on Stephanie Nicole's chanel
Hurray - beauty should be fun x
Great video as always. I use the Hado Labo red line and white line. I love them. As to eyelash serums .. I find they darken my eyelids so stopped using them and started using organic castor oil. Works just as well as serums but cheaper and probably better for you. You should do an experiment .. one person uses Rapid lash and the other one use the castor oil. ..? Xxx
Hi Nadine. Just wondered when will you dedicate a video to menopause skin (all 3 stages)?
It will be coming - I hope for my own sake!
I love jbeauty. And i second the hada labo premium its SO SO LOVELY!! I buy mine on amazon uk from a japanese seller, arrives in about 3 weeks.
Please do a video on growing lashes and a review of the best products to do that - you already mentioned rapid lashes 🙏🏿
Al M have you tried organic cold pressed castor oil? Frequent topical use helps eyelashes and eyebrows regrow. Really truly works!!!
God, I love you two! Great video! Thanks 💛
Jo, the blue tones in your hair make your skin look very pretty😂
I have been buying the premium HA from Hada Labo for 3 years from Amazon. Who needs to go to Japan! 🙂
I’m on my second bottle of the Hada Labo premium lotion, I get it on Amazon
It's insanely good
Lovely funny ladies xxxx
Amazing!! Best yet!
I use the premium all day long. its brilliant.
Obsessed
Ha ha, knew it was only a matter of time before Jo came on with blue hair!🤣
Really feel like I missed a trick years ago because I used to live in Japan and I ignored all the J-Beauty (apart from mascara) because my Japanese wasn’t up to reading the labels and Google translate didn’t exist then. Anyway, here in Germany on Amazon it’s possible to get the real Hada Labo stuff and I’ve been using that advanced lotion for a year since Sam Chapman recommended it. It is such good value for money and my skin is in the best condition it’s been for a long time. xx
That hada labo is awesome gold been using for sixes months and I'm not even half bottle yet great five hyloronic acid
Isn't snail secretion one of the main ingredient of your beloved cc cream from it cosmetics ? I really enjoy your videos and I love your wonderful duo !!
Hada labo products are amazing. We are spoiled in the USA for having access to all this goodies 😍
