Next week’s episode of Blade 1998 is already available at Patreon.com/mrsundaymovies. Check it out if you want.
what is this the future?
Awesome to the max hope you guys do the Blade series like you guys did the Spider-Men Series🤞🏾 .
you were supposed to endure The Fast And The Furious 1955
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fast_and_the_Furious_(1955_film)
Can’t wait a week man, just lie to me and say you don’t know what it will be, also you should do the second starship troopers, or any of them really but I finally watched the second one after years of not being able to get past 10 minutes and I’m a fan of the others, love to see it
Would love to see you guys do a caravan of garbage on Gavin and Stacey, it’s not even bad it’s great and there’s no reason you should just do whatever you want I’m not your dad, anyways I think mason will hate it and James will love it plus it was back when James corden was likeable
Last time I was this early, Mason didn't have an opinion on the Lion King
Yes mate
8:56 “There was a 22% increase in sales.”
“Of that helicopter??”
“No no sorry, in Mini Coopers.”
That whole exchange got me. 😂
The Brazilian Job actually turned into Fast Five, true story, look it up.
That's what I was expecting to mention not the mini in fnf
Really Really.?
I laughed so hard at 2:10 "It's Skywalker!"
9:57
How were you guys able to get the actual sound clip from a movie that is still in theaters? Wow that's impressive
Don't even worry about it
@@SHK66
Guvnaaa
Not only that they also got the video of that scene
Also, if it was the same universe, wouldn't Shaw have recognised his old heist-mate as the woman who's trying to Blackmail Dom?
Didn't they something to eachother about working together in the 8th movie? They exchanged some words.
This movie is the definition of "They punch for a bit then they're mates"
"It's barely an Italian Job"
So it's an Italian-American Job?
This is a good comment 👍
Caravan of Garbage should consider the most English French movie "The Counte of Monte Cristo" 2002
There's a teenage Henry Cavill in it too. Good Stuff.
Edward Norton is such an enigma. A "serious" actor with artistic pretensions who seems to have mostly made fairly unremarkable movies.
He just can't accept that he's just a guy acting, doing a job, like a bunch of other people doing the same thing, and it's not a big deal. In his mind he's better than all the material.
I don't really think there's a great defense to his role in Alita, which I personally loved, but it wasn't high cinema. Norton just sulks around and is supposed to be the big bad but looks like a Spy Kids 3 character
we'll always have Death to Smoochie
Honestly the Original ending to American History X would have been so much better. The movie is still pretty good but it would have been way more true to the cycle of hate.
Edward Norton always comes off as pretentious, always seems to bleed through from his real persona to whatever character he's playing.
@@thisisnotme33 the ending we got was all about the cycle of hate?
5:04...An ocean's...An Italian job..I CAUGHT THAT YOU BUGGER!!!!!
An Ocean Job, my favourite movie
@@purefoldnz3070 Bugger off.
@@purefoldnz3070 Nah fuck off basically
We *need* a Caravan of Garbage on Torque.
Added fact
The Mini Cooper turned 60 yesterday. 🎉🎂🚘
Charlize Theron is pretty gangster.
Especially after Mad Max Fury Road
She is
She could kick the entire casts ass
She is. She's the prettiest gangster ever
She's 5' 10".
_you know what? Take the gears out, take the floor out, I'm gonna drive out as a Flinstone car_
This movie makes 2019 me still want to buy a 2004 Mini.
I wanted to add along with the increase of Mini Cooper sales, there’s a Rollercoaster I used to love as a kid based off of this movie. It is called The Italian Job Coaster or something like that lol it used to be (if not there anymore) at Kings Dominion!
9:57 I've *never* heard a more spot-on Jason Statham impression in my life.
Mark Wahlberg definitely is a hero. He forgave himself for beating up that Vietnamese guy before he met the guy and properly apologized. How noble.
Stay prayed up!
9:30 guy in a Spider-Man outfit guy in a Spider-Man outfit
right? i scrolled to the comments to see if i was the only one that caught that.
Every time I watch that scene I’m just waiting to see the Spider-Man costume hahaha
Same
I SAW THAT WHEN I SAW THIS MOVIE AS A KID AND THE ONLY REASON I CLICKED ON THIS VIDEO WAS TO SEE IF THEY WOULD TALK ABOUT IT. But they didn’t talk about it, EVEN THOUGH THEY EVEN PUT THE CLIP IN THIS VIDEO.
Melik Saba same! No one ever seems to notice this!
I love the editing of these videos. Jason Statham spinning around talking bout his mini copper cracked me up
So relieved you guys enjoyed this one. It’s one of my all-time favorite heist movies
They're watching Alfie, not the Original Italian Job.
I recently rewatched this movie, so glad u guys didn't hate it
I received a pair of free tickets to see this movie as I'd recently bought a Mini Cooper. Unfortunately they didn't offer a cash alternative.
"Thank you for playing that clip from the movie" lolz
I absolutly love this movie, its my childhood
"It's Skywalker" was absolute gold lmfao
The actors learned to do high speed driving...that's insane
2:40 I completely agree, this was my favorite movie when I was younger cause it felt so real, it felt like this heist could happen. While I might love "The Brazilian Job" it would be full of CG and it would be fast and furious crazy, and lose that thing that made it different from the other action movies of the time.
Can we please see more videos on obscure mid 2000s action movies? It’s all I want
Yeah... Driving in South Africa will get you up to speed really quickly :D
I'm so glad they enjoyed this movie! It's one of my all-time favourite guilty pleasures
Charlize Theron... utter perfection... in every respect.
“Take the floor out I’ll drive it like a damn flinstones car” 😂😂 laughed way to hard when I heard that
Seriously "The Italian Job"🤦♂️ when there's "The Transporter" movies which is all about him driving
The Transporter is probably the franchise that made Jason Statahan more famous.
And the Death Race remake was also about him driving.
Yeah but those movies suck whereas this movie is kinda cool...with um...acting in it.
All Statham movies are about him driving/delivering packages
3:54 Napster's Founder has a Metallica flag in his room - that's fucking brilliant
I watched that movie before I knew the original Italian Job existed and didn'tn see the trailer; so I ended up enjoying it quite much!
Best part of this movie: the promotional rollercoaster that they made and is still in Kings Dominion theme park. Lmao.
So early, Michael Jospeh Jackson is still involved in the making of this video
The Italian job got snubbed at the Oscars
the editor of your videos deserves an oscar
Always liked this movie....shame it didn't get a follow up. Can't go wrong with Charlize Theron in her absolute prime.
6th..I think, from Ghana. Great stuff as always guys
I will always leave a like when you ask in such creative ways 👍
Italian job is a really fun period piece, being someone who was 4 years old when it came out. And it has Christopher Nolan vibes with its extreme commitment to practical effects and real life action.
I remember when this came out and as a promo for the mini, they (I think it was the car company not the film company) gave a mini to the Sydney CBD Police all decked out in Police colours, lights, sirens etc and you'd see a couple of cops driving it around the city.
They turned up at our workplace at some stage but I forget the reason
“It’s Skywalker!!” 🤣
Actually, “Fast Five” took the leftovers from the script of the once planned “Brazilian Job” and co-opted them into that story, hence why the entirety of the film was set in Brazil.
You guys should do a "caravan of garbage" episode on the animated Doctor Who Episodes like "Dreamland" and "the infinite quest"
Those are my guilty pleasure
Greatly appreciate this film. Watching 2021 loving it still. Whipping mini coops around won’t ever die
This movie has been like a family classic for me, so it’s really interesting to hear y’all talk about it.
So glad they didnt rip on this child hood favorite movie lol
Ah so this is why everyone points at my Mini Cooper and goes “Italian job” to which I had to say up until this point “oh”
You guys should watch the Speed Racer movie! It's so cheesy, but I love it so much.
They have, they both hate it haha. Pretty sure they did an episode on it
@@GGMCUKAGAIN Pretty sure they have not done an ep on it.
@@MacabreMattYT yeah you're right. they've talked about it before that too though i'm sure.
It’s Skywalker!! 😂😂 had me weak lol
I’ve been saying this movie is good for years and everyone thought I was crazy. Chances are those people probably didn’t even watch it. It’s a good time and is up there with Sunshine as Nick Mason’s favorite movie
Anyone who watches these first and then the extended version is wrong. You listen to the extended version first, THEN you watch the enhanced one with the pictures. You spoil your appetite, watching the one with the pictures first. You listen to the long form podcast version, and then you think "I wonder what fancy comedic timing the editor has for the things James and Maseaux say?"
I really liked this movie a lot, but I did notice the lackluster performance by Ed Norton, as if the director was pointing a gun at him just off camera forcing him to act!
It's so sad to repeatedly learn how terrible Ed Norton is in real life. Nonetheless, I did love this movie as a kid.
It’s funny that Norton was forced to do this yet knocked it out of the park
I really liked this movie when it came out. I was a kid and I remember a lot of scenes. It sticks out at me. The style, the dialogue, it all stuck out to me. Glad it holds up
badass charlize
my buddy had the video game of this for PS2. Wasn't it good? I think it was
Been waiting for another caravan of garbage video cuz they are what got me into this channel
I just remember my brother and his friend laughing so hard at all the action scenes whe we rented it in like '05
They said now real helicopters arent used for stunts like they used to. Did they just forget about Mission Impossible Fallout where Tom Cruise was training for months to do his helicopter stunt.
May the MCU be a lesson to Edward Norton about being nice.
I keep forgetting this movie exists. And I only have happy memories from watching it. And I always enjoy a rewatch.
This is one of my favorite movies, I don't care what anyone else has to say
7:50 when Maso says "a little bit croocked" my spotify suddenly started playing a guitar rift in a alternative rock song
I like how its called the Italian job and the only time its even in Italy is in the first 15 mins
You brought up Torque!!! Lol
I loved this movie as a kid
Great movie. Didn’t know the trailers spoiled it though, glad I missed that.
The lock stock & two smoking barrerls govnuu reference is top notch lads
Handsome Rob. That's how I have referred to him ever since.
You guys are the best I swear! I literally hear your voices now anytime I watch something stupid!! Seriously tho, you'll have a blast doing Garbage Pail Kids.
Just because I'm a gearhead... The Mini in Shaw's safehouse is an original, old school Mini, not the BMW remake. Also, he does say, "It's from a job I did in Los Angeles." But dangit, guys. You made me want to watch The Italian Job again, even though I swore I never would.
I'm just gonna say it, I love this film, it's abrilliant fun action/heist movie with a great cast! And I like the soundtrack, it's very early 00's but it's suiting.
I loved this movie then and I love it still to this day. Such a great movie .
Best duo since c3p0 and r2d2
As an owner of a first generation BMW Mini Cooper, I can say, matter-of-factly, that they are not the size of a regular car. MASO IS WRONG.
so there.
I like Mark Wahlberg as an actor he's a great actor
"Don't do crimes, folks." - Maso
I enjoyed the montage of flipping Minis
8:44 "pioneered flying a helicopter under an overpass"
Terminator 2: Am I a joke to you?
I have written this comment all over the internet. The trailer for The Italian job, which they showed almost a full year before the movie came out, GIVES AWAY THE ENTIRE MOVIE.
A good edit job on this one, classic Ben
Knowing that Charlese Theron can actually stunt drive in real life makes mad makes so much better.
It's like watching John Wick and knowing Keanu Reeves can actually shoot like that.
Do Blade 3 a week or 2 before the new MCU Blade comes out. Don’t even do Blade 2, just skip to 3 and watch the CGI part at least 3 times in spirit of being Blade 3.
Hey, woah, I go to that last Blockbuster all the time.
Love that you guys remind me early to give your videos a thumbs up👍
Always do!
Didn’t Terminator 2 do the first helicopter under an overpass back in the 90s?
Can't tell whether Ed Norton is a legend or a complete tool
Both?
He's a legend I think. Takes his craft seriously and had he had a better agent/been more wise with his decisions then he could've been at the A-List of male actors.
But instead he made enemies and picked bad roles and he fell off. But I still think he's in the upper echelon of male actors of the late 90s/early 00s imo. Up there with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, etc.
I think an actor just needs a really good agent to succeed though. That's why Leo's had practically the perfect career but everything that Norton's touched has soured up. Difference between picking the right role and the wrong role.
Combination Locks with the "clicking" isn't the internal mechanism clicking, it's just a ratchet that clicks the exact same no matter how you turn it so that it just makes it easier to dial it in to the intended number.
When Italian Job came out, I took a taxi to the nearest Mini Coop dealership, then drove my new car straight to Olive Garden where I enjoyed unlimited salty salad and breadsticks, then a big ol' dish of Spaghetti Ranchero Italiano made by the onsite Artisan Pasta Technician Authenticato!
Damn, Charlize is a real G.
She absolutely is as I’ve recently come to realize from this and Hot Ones.
Yes lads
love the video editing
