Daraa Tribes is a Saharan Blues band from the small oasis town of Tagounite, Morocco. They fuse the diverse traditional tribal sounds respective of each member with modern instruments to create their music. These styles include Gnawa, Amazigh, Hassania, and Regaga, among others. Their songs express their livelihoods in the Sahara and the peace and tolerance their tribes have shown one another for centuries now.
Daraa Tribes est un groupe de Blues Saharien originaire de la petite ville de Tagounite au Maroc. Ils fusionnent les divers sons tribaux traditionnels respectifs à chacun de membres du groupe avec des instruments modernes pour créer leur propre style musical incluant Gnawa, Amazigh, Hassania et Regaga, entre autres. Leurs chansons expriment leur moyen de subsistance dans le Sahara, la paix et la tolérance que leurs tribus ont montré depuis des siècles.
