Your horse is the bravest Arabian I have ever seen! I can't keep mine from bucking when being chased by wolves, but I might try again now that I know the trick of just run then shoot (and hopefully don't run into a tree) lol
I do believe that every horse is different and some are more skittish than others....I just have really good luck with Arabians! It is helpful for any horse to keep them moving around predators. They second they stop moving, the higher likelihood of getting bucked...for any horse breed!
I have a horse right now that is constantly bucking me around wolves which is unusual. it's the bay criollo and other predators aren't so bad but that horse hates wolves.
😂 this is why I laugh when people tell me I'm dumb and that all horses behave exactly the same. I have pretty good luck with Arabians but I also know some people have better luck with certain breeds than others. I have really bad luck with turkomans and MFTs and I know most people love them!
I know others say there is no difference in bravery between the horses but I see a huge difference between mt Breton and roadster. I think my Breton developed PTSD after months of heavy combat. Very skittish now. He's taking a break in the stable and I'm back to the roadster.
@BlackKnight_ exactly. He crashed more too. Also his response to even one gunshot or just traveling was similar to a snake being nearby. Several times I would look and nothing there. He had a nasty head on collision with another player on horseback going full speed at us and had to be revived. Been in the stables ever since.
Actually I just remembered I watch this video and meant to ask. How TF are you getting legendary animals to spawn? They literally don't exist anymore in freeroam.
It honestly just depends on how many people are in the lobby and what other events are going on. It's not like I run into a ton but maybe once a week or so. I just had the panther spawn on stream a few days ago.
@BlackKnight_ Well trying to find a specific one is absolute hell. This game still has a surprisingly healthy player base so finding a lobby with less than 15 people is very very difficult.

So I notice a lot in your videos you mention temperament and bravery as like characteristics of horses. But from what I've seen personally in game and from other youtubers there is no such thing. Its all just the same no horse acts any differently from the others. They are all the exact same with temperament/bravery. Unless you know of something different?
So temperament and bravery are not built into the code. Years ago, people thought there was actually a hidden bravery stat but this isn't true. So there is nothing in the code that says if you buy this horse or do x,y,z your horse will be "braver". However, the horses do randomly behave differently. Call it variations in the game, bugs, whatever etc. But if you have played this game for any length of time and had hundreds of horses you can see the difference. I have horses that I can't get to move when we come across a black bear. I have a horse I can ride through the swamps and never get bucked. I have horses that buck me at the slightest thing. All variables are the same in terms of level 4 bond, clean, calming, etc but you can tell the difference. It is random, it is nothing you can predict but it's there. Some people deny it and say all the horses are the same but I don't know how you can come to that conclusion unless you only ride a small number of horses!
@DarkBlizzard5533 I mean I don't know how it works. I can't imagine it's intentional on rockstars part but maybe? It would make sense that it's just a random variation when you purchase. I can purchase the same horse, same coat and it be more or less likely to buck but it's just random.
@DarkBlizzard5533 imo war horses and bretons should be braver than thoroughbreds for example and I know they wanted to do a lot more coding with the horses but they just ran out of time and resources.
@BlackKnight_ Hmmm I see. You think Rockstar will ever uncap or at least increase horse capacity? I know they abandoned this game long ago but it be nice if they could at least do QoL stuff like that.

My Arabian would have bucked me as soon as she heard the gators growl and hiss!

I agree. I find my horses sometimes need a break too. They seem to trip more, buck more etc if I've been using them too much.
