i love how the first game was literally made with images, the background, the animatronics in the window, and the camera was just moving the image to the side. The only animations it had were the animatronics jumpscaring, the doors, some lights and the fan. I think it's just amazing how they improved already in the second game, and even more considering what they became in the last games

The thing I like most about this franchise is that it was Scott's last attempt at a game and he didn't expect it to succeed and he made this game out of criticism of his previous games and I really respect Scott for everything he's done over the years

His last games were pure _religious_ garbage and FNAF is just garbage, not that different but it did go right as an almost infinite cash cow. He just needed enough youtubers wasting time with this shit, and now he doesn't even need to develop anything. Just hand the heavy lifting to Steel Wool so that THEY can make a somewhat prettier piece of garbage like Security Breach or Help Wanted, then he can just kick back and count the money. the fact bonnie at the door still scared markiplier, a man who put himself through many trials of scary games and jumpscares, should be testament to how efficient the game is, like he said. it's wonderful

I know this is more in reference to him being relatively unknown as a creative before the success of FNAF, but I think it's also extremely notable that it was born directly from a criticism of one of his previous creative works. Too many people respond very poorly to criticism, and it's refreshing to see someone succeed after hearing criticism and integrating that feedback into their next project.
It's funny, because this game was a bit of a "Have fun and fuck you. :)"

You can see that despite him being used to the game it still is surprisingly stressful to play. None of the other games really nailed the horror factor like the first one did, except fnaf 4
fnaf 4 I couldn't even get past the 1ST NIGHT x.x
For me, Pizzeria Simulator was more stressful as it feels like you have no real protection against 4 animatronics, you have no strategy to buy time (usually not doing anything in the other games, or running out of power in fnaf 1) as time doesnt matter, instead you have to tediously wait until tasks are done and hope that no ads screw your strategy, or nobody enters in those seconds of doing your tasks, and the jumpscares are very sudden unlike other games

To think I used to be terrified, ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED, of five nights at freddy’s to the point id regularly have nightmares of them whenever I even saw a poster- Mark was the first person I watched, seeing his reactions and seeing him play made fnaf not as scary as it used to be even if I covered my face all the time watching it, and now I absolutely love watching this series and Mark playing and no longer cover my face. Also UCN conquered my fear too because of the lame jumpscares but we dont mention that
as a 12 year old who has enjoyed fnaf since I was 6, I believe that fnaf is seriously one of the best horror games released in my opinion. the creepy vibe it sets, the heart racing and panic when the animatronics move off of the stage, and ESPECIALLY the fright when foxy runs down the hall. the power percentage going down quite fast too definitely makes you want to get through the night quickly. amazing game!

This game gives a feeling that no other FNAF game gives when you come back to it after a loooong while. Seeing how everyone moved on to the other FNAF games while these same old animatronics are stuck in this old creepy building it just gives a different feeling. The ambience is also nearly unmatched, its still unsettling to this day
