- Dramatic Olympus Takedown Teaser Shakes Up Broken Moon in Apex Legends Season 21!
In a stunning twist for Apex Legends Season 21, the Olympus map has been dramatically shot down over Broken Moon. Here’s what players will experience:
Laser Attack: When you load into a game on Broken Moon, you can witness the laser at Stasis Array shooting down the Olympus portal. The scene is quite a spectacle.
Sky Debris: As you drop from the ship, look up to see debris scattered across the sky. This will eventually fall onto the map, altering the landscape.
Red Glow at Stasis Array: Upon landing at Stasis Array, you'll notice the laser now sports a red glow, indicating its recent fiery use.
Warning Screens: Throughout the map, screens display urgent alerts. One flashes "Danger Alert," while another warns, "Stasis Net Disabled. Debris incoming. Brace for impact."
Map Changes: Next season, Broken Moon will undergo significant changes due to the falling debris. These alterations will shake up some of the points of interest on the map. - Hry

That wasn’t Olympus that was destroyed. It was the broken mood radar thingy that prevented object from entering the area but with that now destroyed the rubble can now fall onto broken moon without issue. This was proven by someone (can’t remember his name) as you can see in a different loading screen it clearly shows what what shot down and it wasn’t Olympus thankfully
Is was Olympus, but from another universe, that was confirmed. Alter teleported it in to destroy the orbital thing, both were destroyed, again it wasn’t our Olympus thankfully
I think people forgot that the Olympus that was in that portal was from a different dimension so we are keeping the Olympus we have, I don’t think respawn is THAT dumb to destroy the most loved map of all time

We need a LTM where there’s just flaming debris falling all game - and the final circle is crushed by a big piece of Olympus so instead of a closing timer - there’s a countdown to impact 😂

Broken Moon is the best it's ever been. Previously, I could agree it sucked, but they've made a lot of updates. Give it a shot if you haven't played there this season. It might surprise you!

Respawn could’ve done better by actually making the debris change the map as we move into the next season. Storm point as well if you go to an area there’s a screen that’ll tell you a storm is coming. Inclement weather conditions can make fight engagements more interesting.
Olympus didn't get shot down, the satellite above broken moon did get shot down
Before anyone says it, I know Fortnite did something similar. Would be cool to have live pieces falling during matches that deal heavy damage and strong knockback. Maybe just a limited mode or short takeover event.

I remember the early days of apex on kings canyon, season 1-3 were a nice memory of fun, and then 5-9 were a great rush of skill and excitement as we got Worlds edge, and then the game was good for a while will seasons 13, then it was never the same and kept getting worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and worse
Olympus is not broken its a different univere like a different part its a different Olympus so you cant play it now but its a Olympus from a different universe so the one we play its our original univere

In my honest opinion broken moon and the other new map are just big ass hills which lead to really odd gun fights and the servers have been kinda weird for duos we either get contested by the entire lobby off drop at really dead places players don't normally land or we survive and we are top 4 in the 2nd ring closing and get rolled by a random bang/horizon or octane/wraith that have 3x our lifetime kills on one character I hope they do something about this

tbh the reason why I hate storm point and broken moon compared to KC, WE, and Olympus is I hate how big and open they are also idk if it’s just me but ground loot and crates are the absolute worst on these maps I think with the movement we have with every legend makes the OG maps perfect for apex

The best maps in the game ranked highest to lowest are Olympus, Worlds Edge, then Broken Moon. All the others are hot garbage and dont deserve to be on a list.
