Been cycling for over 30 years. Biking along edsa BEFORE the pandemic was a test of skill, guts, self-control and, above all else, anticipation and reading the road. Only the most hardened of cyclists dared riding along edsa. I was happy when they finally introduced bike lanes during the pandemic, and can only hope they continue to evolve and improve this so cycling becomes more accessible to all, not just the suicidal crazies like myself.
I bike through EDSA next to SM Megamall few times a week. I'm curious what part of EDSA is tough? I assume SM North or MOA
@@vanguard812-vf7hr before the bus carousel implementation, edsa crossing was a nightmare. It was safer to go through the underpass if you weren't turning into shaw. Cubao was also a challenge; again easier to go through the underpass instead of squeezing theough busses that pile on to each other.
Basically most of edsa became a lot easier to ride when all the busses were confined to the bus lane carousel.
The problem is motorcycle riders using the bike lane

Tapos pag nka disgrasia tatakbuhan ka Yun ang pang laban nila eh.
Tapos na pandemic, hindi na worth mag lagay ng bike lane sa edsa kasi konti nalang nagbabike ngayon compare noong pandemic kasi wala masakyan ang tao. Ngayon 2023 pampasikip nlang sa edsa yan.
