6:25 I've never played much chess, either, but after a little research, I've determined those are real strategems, although you may be more likely to find a different variation of the names, in the current era. Also, the only one of Ramona's teas I hadn't already heard of was Liver Disaster, but I'm assuming it would just be the name of a liver detox blend that O'Malley happened to be familiar with; perhaps a store brand or something local.
I can help with Mordecai's weapon. Most people carry it on their dominant side. If im correct Morecai is left handed so he carries it on his left, nice reaction btw

I think Viktor got defensive because Ivy mentioned a boy and his mom in her joke. I think he had a past he didn’t want to remember.
he realized he was starting to enjoy having her there and was pushing her away because he realized that it was in fact dangerous for here there
I feel it could be cause he didn't want her to get close cause it's dangerous
I believe in the comic he has a daughter and that’s why he enjoys ivys presence for a bit before pushing her away.

RE: The two 'shorts' - The Kickstarter was so crazy successful (which you already know), but a lot of the people who donated don't realize how time-consuming 'traditional' animation is to do. If you'll allow this ex-Cartoon Network guy to geek out for a min..the Lackadaisy crew is doing a hybrid. They're producing it to make it look like old school frame-by-frame animation, but they're creating the frames using an editing app so that they don't have to pay to have individual frames physically painted. Tracy Butler & her gang release these shorts to let folks with less patience than I have know "..hey! We're still working on it!!" I love that the shorts focus on the characters' early history, after the pilot came out I went and read most of the webcomic. It's an amazing story. I came to realize how long hand animation took following Don Hertzfeldt in high school. Before the days of Twitter or anything it was via the blog on his website. He's an exception doing everything by himself by hand (I think he's incorporated some computer elements in the past few years but I could be wrong) but seeing that a 15 minute or so film took like 3-4 years to make, I definitely got the idea of how long it can take.
@@heytallman, yeah. We were lucky at CTN. Tartakovsky/McCracken/Dilworth/Warburton had tons of Turner money behind them, the crews were massive and they could really crank 'em out quick. Also, we had the benefit back then of the traditional TV model where you had them all 'in the can' and just released one new one a week. Since streaming's largely replaced TV, people (especially folks donating money to get the work done) expect everything "Right Now!" Good talking to you, man! Love the 8-bit music on the outro, BTW.
