There is an awful lot of deco*27 on this list for how mediocre the songs are LOL. I guess it's kind of the pop music principle, it doesn't matter if it's interesting or inventive if it follows a same set of rules that people like over and over again. As for your reasoning for including non-vocaloid databases, you are off on some of your information, but your heart is in the right place and your point is valid nonetheless. What I mostly mean by being off on some of the information is the distinction not being important for databases that are from other software. Yes, ia's most recent databases are for the cevio software, but her most popular database to use is still vocaloid due to the lower quality output that generally comes from the cevio engine. The same is with Hatsune Miku, her most recent database is for the piapro NT software, but her vocaloid databases are still more popular to use. This distinction of what voice is being used from what software is still important because there is a large difference in quality between databases made for different software for the same characters, as the character is just a facade for a music software tool after all, but regardless they should still all be represented because the vocalsynth community hasn't been only vocaloid for a long time now, so making the list only vocaloid would be misrepresentative of the community at large.

There is an awful lot of deco*27 on this list for how mediocre the songs are LOL. I guess it's kind of the pop music principle, it doesn't matter if it's interesting or inventive if it follows a same set of rules that people like over and over again.
As for your reasoning for including non-vocaloid databases, you are off on some of your information, but your heart is in the right place and your point is valid nonetheless. What I mostly mean by being off on some of the information is the distinction not being important for databases that are from other software. Yes, ia's most recent databases are for the cevio software, but her most popular database to use is still vocaloid due to the lower quality output that generally comes from the cevio engine. The same is with Hatsune Miku, her most recent database is for the piapro NT software, but her vocaloid databases are still more popular to use. This distinction of what voice is being used from what software is still important because there is a large difference in quality between databases made for different software for the same characters, as the character is just a facade for a music software tool after all, but regardless they should still all be represented because the vocalsynth community hasn't been only vocaloid for a long time now, so making the list only vocaloid would be misrepresentative of the community at large.
