    Felicia of OSR Garage shares her Likes and Dislikes of our Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium. We have owned the Mustang Mach-E for just over a month and there are a lot of things we loved and some we don't. Should Ford work to improve some of these features? Is the Mach-E a great Electric Vehicle? Overall, We think it is better than our VW ID.4 and are impressed with a lot of the features. Enjoy a drive with Felicia as she tells you what she thinks about this Mustang Mach-E Premium. #MAMA23Rally

    A big misconception is that one pedal drive is electric braking and with it not enabled, friction brakes are used. In fact, any braking, one pedal or two pedal, uses electric braking as the priority and supplements friction braking when certain conditions call for it, such as panic braking, super slow speed when coming to a stop, or any time the regen can't handle the desired braking rate due to slippery conditions or too high of a state of charge.

    Frankly, I was stunned that Ford pulled a Tesla by gluing a Kindle to the outside of the dash - the only thing I dislike about my Tesla SLR. My Tesla is now going on 6 years, and I would consider the Mach if they had a better interior layout.

      Tesla definitely started a fabulous with the tablet screen. Now a lot of EV'S have one or something similar. We enjoyed the layout. But people coming from a Tesla probably think it looks cluttered...lol

    Press the charge door on right side center to open and close..also if the door is not closed there is a warning that shows on the center display screen..

    • @offtheshelfrides
      @offtheshelfrides  Před rokem

      Yes, but if you press ok, the warning goes away. Maybe they should prevent the car from moving out of park. I have also heard from many people that the door pops open while they are driving.

    Vegan leather also known as vinyl. Charging infrastructure quite bad in the UK as well. We are paying about 40 pence (70 cents US) per KW for home energy and up to £1 ($1.25) at public chargers. We don't use coal powered power stations now (only natural gas turbines, solar and wind). I have solar with batteries and its 28 degrees Celsius (82 F) at the moment. I have charged my Electric car for FREE since mid April when the solar was installed saving over £100 ($125 dollars) a month on charging my car. Solar saving 85% on electricity bill at moment.

    Yes, that problem of not slowing down until it crosses the lower speed limit sign is a real problem with Teslas also. I got a speeding ticket in a small town because of it. ADA software should start to decelerate *before* the car enters the lower speed zone. When I first saw the Mach-E's "dial" on the screen, I thought it was silly, but after test driving one, I really loved it! It is so easy to change different settings, like volume, fan speed, etc. with just one dial. Wish my Model 3 had one! That would be irritating to have the cameras constantly warn you with your hand on the top of the wheel, but… I never drive that way, and typically have my hand on the side of the wheel.

      Thanks! I just drive an 2022 Audi E-Tron Gt for the weekend and it has predictive speed. It slowed down before the signs, around curves and before I got to an intersection. It was pretty cool!

    I own a 2022 Mock-E GT Performance and absolutely love it. My complaint is actually with all modern vehicles in that they have way to many nannies. Yes it keeps us safe but can also be annoying.

    That amount of noise inside the car (wind and tyres) is not acceptable by any means for a car that costs over 50000€ .

      Yes, it was a bit much that day. But when you have a touch of music going, you don't really hear it. Those roads are not very good roads, wasn't helping, lol

    There is a specific spot that makes the door stay shut…. You will eventually find it… trial and error to get it to stop being annoying.

    When the eye monitor is on the car is in Hands Free Mode.

    • @offtheshelfrides
      @offtheshelfrides  Před rokem

      Not exactly. If your car is equipped with blue cruise, when you turn on lane-centering which is hands-free blue cruise on only select premapped roads, otherwise you have to have your hands on the wheel and the eye tracker is still active. You can't use lane-centering without turning on blue cruise which activates the eye tracker. It's either all or nothing.

    You do not want your hand on top of the wheel of ANY modern car as the airbag will force it back into your face: reconstruction surgery if you survive.
