My suggestion for sushi: Ignore the ones where all the foreigners are. We went to a little hole-in-the-wall revolving place called Numazuko Shinjuku, SO. GOOD. Way better than the tourist-centric revolving places (and cheaper).

We have koi in the pond at home and they always come over whenever they see me since they know I will feed them. We have to take them inside during winter though since the winters are unpredictable here and last year a lot of people lost theirs to the ice and heavy snow. They're so tame you could probably just pick them up since whenever I feed them I do so by hand and they eat from it.
I got SO EXCITED just ten seconds in!! I miss riding the Yamanote!!! Apparently they built a new Harajuku station, and I'm so sad, I absolutely loved the old station!(lived in Japan off and on 2015-2016) It was so heckin charming, I miss everything about Japan, even public transit, lol. And I frickin loved that Yoshinoya on the corner of Takeshita Dori! I miss Japan. Yes! Santa Monica Crepes!!!!!!! Oh man, their chocolate strawberry crepe was SO GOOD!!!! My fav was probably in Osaka, I came across a tiramisu crepe.
A very good video. Just adding more fuel to my desire to visit Japan. I need the foods, the temples, the anime, the crazy vending machines, and the dollar store.

Don't stress if you have to wait until you're back in Canada to upload Japan vlogs. Enjoy your holiday! That being said, I do appreciate the vlogs. I want to go to Japan someday but I get anxious (which becomes cranky/ragey/salty) when there are too many people in my personal space. I can tolerate it for short amounts of time if there's something I really want to see, like Harajuku. That temple on the other hand looked so quiet and so much room away from other people. I'll have to wait until I can practise my basic Japanese again, so I can venture out of the touristy areas. And lose more weight: I'm plus sized Australian, which means I might not fit into regular people seats etc in Japan AND I may cry looking at all the pretty clothes I can never wear in places like that creepy shop.

I've always wanted to go to Japan but I've got huge anxiety about not being able to communicate with people because I unfortunately only grew up speaking English. I've tried learning other languages but it's so hard, I don't have the time. I went to Rome and found it really hard to get around and talk to people. Maybe one day I'll go to Japan, for now I'll have to live vicariously through you!
I can never watch a video of yours by myself anymore. Apparently my cat loves to listen to your voice no matter what video you are doing. She will nap and the second your voice reaches her she begins her purring. Apparently she is a grain as well. ❤️

Awwww, the Koi! It makes me miss ours. We used to have a Koi pond, but we ended up having to give them to someone else, because we were just having so much trouble with herons and raccoons coming in to eat them :( I know that Koi can get to around 100 years of age, possibly even older. Some of our Koi were surprisingly intelligent. There was a 'mama' Koi who would, every day, herd up all the smaller Koi and make sure they ate first, chasing away the bigger fish until the little ones had their fill. Her name was 'Sparkles' xD

We are stationed in Guam and plan to go to Japan next December. It's only a 5 hour flight from here and a third of the cost that it would be if we went there from the states. I am so flipping excited! It's also on our dream sheet so we may end up living there next! Enjoy your vacation but show as much as you can!
