My husband and I place an order on the Walmart website, and then pick it up (We live in a very rural area and delivery is not an option). It saves so much time and money. I have accidently ordered the wrong size items quite a few times lol. It's great that your groceries were brought up to you.

Walmart plus. They deliver to your door or pick up. In US 98.00 for year. Lots of perks. Free delivery
Beans on toast is a British staple 😊
We also have cheese on it, or cheese and Branston Pickle or HP brown sauce . . . It's also great to fry onions with curry spices in a pan, and then add a tin of baked beans to make curry beans . . . Adding a squirt of BBQ sauce will also make them BBQ flavour 😊

We use it always! No more picking up extra stuff we don’t need on an impulse! We do the Walmart thing, since Covid started we have been doing it since 2020! Plus we are older and hauling groceries up steps is getting harder!
I love the digital coupons too on the stores apps! 😀 And a lesson I learned about ordering bananas is one store when choosing the number of bundles but another store it’s individual bananas lol. I’ve had 2 bundles show up & then when I chose 1 I got one single banana instead of 1 bundle at another 😂 And online delivery is helpful when the weather gets bad in the winter 😀

That block of frozen spinach is the equivalent of minimum 3 to 4 bags of spinach so don’t be deterred. The benefit to buying fresh spinach is you canbag certain portions on your own and then put in the freezer for your smoothies or your eggs in the morning. It is harder to chop off a portion from the frozen one.
I’ve never done grocery delivery. I’ve heard that produce isnt always the chosen the way I want. And I’m too cheap and you need to tip your driver - and more so when he walked up 4 flights of stairs!!
I had the same fear of them not choosing good stuff but they actually want people to use their service so I think this is a myth.
You save way more money not walking into the store and buying anything not on your list, distracted by sales etc. A tip is barely anything compared to all that extra spending
I can't stand grocery shopping inside Walmart. It saves me gas and my time in the store. I feel it saves me money even with tipping my driver.
Online groceries are the best!! I order from real Canadian superstore and also Walmart. I definitely agree. It can help you stay in budget because you can see exactly how much your bill is adding up to. I live in a second floor building and I have three small children. The fact that they carry it up to me and bring it to my door is my favourite part. but I will warn you that there are some drivers that get irritated that they have to bring it up to my door and will try to get me to come down. I have to explain to them that I have three small children and I can’t just leave and come down. I do always make sure to tip them fairly well tho.
Yes absolutely! I made sure to tip because that's so important for me that they can bring up to my door!!
I don't do grocery delivery but, I do Wal-Mart grocery pickup. SO much easier and it keeps me on budget. Plus I loathe grocery shopping so its a win all the way around. Delivery seems like a great choice for you Vanessa, who wants to haul groceries up stairs, especially while pregnant? 💛
Bananas always get messed up when we on-line order. I like to do a pretend cart so i shop onlone see what im spending then i go out with my sister to get groceries since she does shopping for her and my mom i hitch a ride and help bring her groceries to her house. Ur delievery person was awesome not all of them are like that ..... i have to hint down my orders a few times from neighbors.

I love online grocery shopping but the one I use, Shipt, does upcharge most of their products, unless I choose Target as the store with them, then they are usually lower. ❤

You probably orders 2 or 3 pounds/kg of banana not "each". Spinach shrinks when frozen. Compressed in small pkg. Where is your children's father? He doesn't help you?
