- This is my third iteration of setting up the minivan as a little home on wheels. I really enjoy figuring out how to get the very best use out of very little space. I think I was able to do that with this one.
I must have seen hundreds of minivan camper videos, and this one is extraordinary. The layout is creative, and the attention to beauty and a homelike feel is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve shared this video with myself so that I can refer back to it. Thank you for sharing your design with the world!
Aw, sweet! I appreciate the comment. I didn’t post the video because I care what people think of my space. I shared it because I loved the process of creating it and thought someone else may benefit from seeing the fruit of my efforts. It surprises me how many people take the time to comment with negativity. Why? If they don’t like it then move along. Anyway, it makes my heart smile to read that you enjoyed my little cozy memory making space. I am happy to help anyone with their build or ideas.

It is unique, many items that would be crowded on any other design, but they are delightful in your design.

Interesting, but more decorative stuff than I would carry (for ease of movement).
It's a small space so I understand wanting it to feel homey, especially on a cold or rainy day when she's off and is spending more time inside.

Makes me smile to see your kind comment! I love being innovative when it comes to space planning. I wonder sometimes, even though I have no formal training, whether I could make a business out of space planning for places that have high cost of living and tiny spaces. I have so many ideas.

Really glad that you're getting out and about and that you're happy in your rig. For me, it's too much stuff, but there's a camper set up for every camper and it's not for anyone to criticise.

Greetings from Washington, DC again. I read some of the comments. My goodness! People go in hard. But when you put your life on social media I guess that is to be expected. I know the money can be a blessing in this economy but you have to be strong to read those comments. I was shocked how rude people were. I'm a retired Police Officer in DC and we were tought to have thick skin. But people go so hard on your personal space it was heartbreaking. I thought your van had alot of thought that went into it for your lifestyle. I guess I'll really try not to sound so judgmental on my comments on other channels. I really liked the use of space you had going on. I'm a person who likes their thing's around them too if I can travel in my Chevy Tahoe. Your not alone. I like my things too. Stay strong and enjoy YOUR LIFE. Best wishes.
Oh the comments don’t effect me at all. I really don’t care what people think about my design. I love it and just wanted to share to give others ideas. I am glad you liked it and do appreciate the encouragement. I don’t live in this full time, its really just something I love to do and enjoy spending the time creating the build.

When traveling with more than one, I can see where this makes sense, as you’re living “out” of it, and not “in” it. You have got just about everything, pretty cool. I don’t have a teenage daughter like you, but I do have two elementary aged kids, and hoping to take them out camping with a mini van / tent. Thanks for the ideas here, and I love the rinse off system. Worth the price imho.
Yep, just living out of it...I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. You could use the same set up I have here but instead of having the storage above the bed on the drivers side, just make that into another bed space for the second child.

Like the sheer curtain for insects and your unique storage system. I also hear the pride and joy in your voice which I encourage you to stay positive. That's exactly what I want to do. Set up my Clam with an awning between. I just left my beautiful lakefront Tennessee site because of rain and this arrangement would have given me the space to ride it out w/o feeling claustrophobic. I'm trying to see the brand name on your awning. Ignore the haters who don't know when to move on.
It is called Moonshade. It is super easy to use and breaks down to a pretty small package. It is very versatile. Thank you for the encouragement

The Murphy bed to the back of driver and passenger seats is a first -- and I've watched thousands of CZcams van conversion videos.

I first pictured a shared feet space while sleeping if the underneath area is needed for storage. The shared feet space could work well for siblings/generational co-campers. I will probably watch this a hundred times and notice something new each time!

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the mature thoughtful way you worded your comment. I completely respect people's opinions when they say they feel it is too cramped. I find it a tad cramped myself..but good Lord why can't people say it in a constructive kind manner rather than just leaving an ugly comment with no value.
