@@Loki- That’s exciting what I have been thinking, the internet would make personal connections less relevant and job opportunities depend purely on your qualifications, but almost every single interview I have seen on CZcams, “ How did you get a job in the tech field” the answers are always “ A lot of networking”What a frustrating world we live.
It's always been like that. Hard skills are relatively easy to get (that's why it is less valuable in reality), soft skills take time and add more value
Thank you for this 😄 I've been off of work the past few years taking care of family and I used to work in the food business, but over the past few years have been learning more and more about my passion for engineering and programming. I've made a few mods for games as well as a few standalone puzzle games, but I've been grinding the past year or so now really trying to learn all of the fundamentals (ds and algos, big O, GO4 patterns, etc.) and I'm finally starting to feel confident enough to start applying. My biggest worry is having a lack of formal experience and not having a fancy portfolio, but I still plan on putting the work I _have_ done on my resume anyways and start networking/applying. You're only a failure once you stop trying, right?

i wanna learn your thoughts about how ai will affect these tech jobs you listed in the beginning of the video and how much ai jobs will be connected to software/coding skills
There is a shortage of engineers in many tech jobs so just apply a lot of companies run apprenticeship schemes and whatnot as they struggle to employ people.

Assuming it will happen and that it hasn’t happened yet, wouldn’t this make it one of the most pivotal moments in history due to being able to affect what’s going on and the immense potential power may come about? Shouldn’t we be doing our best in learning AI/ML/AGI so we can best benefit happiness, peace, etc on to the world? I hope you will take this seriously as this development can push the world to obtain great benefits but also we must be wary and deal with of any ethical concerns that may be there. Please peace❤

I only got a job in tech in my country because of connections, now i want to get an international job but it’s hard without knowing anyone
Connections have always been huge, but you would think internet tools would have made that less important, yet here we are...
