he still took the damage from the chain link 2 card because the effect is considered to happen simultinaiously even thought the turn player take the damage first, so if he did not have enought life point to survive the 2000 damage it would have cause a tied game, the tied prevention is only for ring of destruction because the you take damage and then your opponent take damage, is seperated by the word then instead of if you do, a then mean after the previous happening if it does happen the next thing to happen is not simultanious, while the if you do, mean if the first action did happen the second action is considered to happen at the same time as the first.

I had opposite encounter to nurse burn. My turn, droplet, he process to flip everything, heal me for 8k and scoop.

After the last reset I decided to try and do gold to plat with Nurse Burn, succeeded and just as I thought I'd wipe my hands of it afterwards they release the xyz event and I just couldn't help myself. It made Tri-and-Guess not much of a guess anymore.
That first turn kill is very common for me. and switch to ON instead of AUTO so you can activate traps right after enemy draw.
That is actually a very bad idea.
You should always wait to the very last moment with nurseburn so it is harder to respond with quickplays.
Book of moon, droplet ad chalice are 3 common quickplays that obliterate nurseburn.

And it’s exactly moments like in this video that you really wish you have counters like Red Reboot in hand. That card literally saved me from all burn and eldlich decks more times than the opponent can counter it aside from the fact that you only have the turn red reboot was activated to OTK/FTK the opponent before it becomes his or her turn again, then in which case you’re pretty much screwed unless you have a handtrap that can negate effect damage.

It's kinda interesting to note that even if the final blow is dealt, the game will still finish resolving the effect that dealt that particular blow as long as the other stuff that happens is all part of that same effect and occurs at the same time. These little glimpses into interactions that rarely occur show just how much thought the developers put into the gameplay. I think it's pretty neat

I had a game where I Ashed a Banishment of The Darklords, thinking I was going against a Darklord player. They then activated Alure, set 4 and end turn, only to immediately reveal right after my draw phase Simochi and 3 Gift Cards. Not just different kinds of LP cards like this. 3. Gift. Cards. That's what I call 99 years of luck.

I had that happen to me too. 3 gift cards turn 1. I couldn't help but wonder if it was a hacker or whatever cuz that's some crazy good luck. But i suppose it's possible.

For those who don't know:
Dark Nurse has an effect that causes any LP gains your opponent gets to do LP damage instead.
He played 2 Gift Cards (3000 x 2), Path of Destiny (2000 on Heads) and Dark Cure (1/2 of a monsters attack power if opponent summoned one). This is a total of 8000 damage.
The guy who won also took 2000 damage for landing Tails on his toss from Path of Destiny (both players get this effect but have seperate coin tosses).

I fought an eldich player for the first time yesterday and now I know why people eldich so much.
After the update they made it that meta will mostly play vs meta decks so if u play eldlich or drytrons etc.. there's a big chance u will end up against an opponent using a top tier deck too

@@smokysus2634 not anywhere near how match making works. I did my first ranked duel 1 hour into playing the game... My opponent had 4 monsters one was even 8000+ within 3 turns and I was playing with the starter deck. The match making is completely trash, new players should be matched with new players, not dueling against people with meta decks, I didn't even have a single competitive card and this person had a full on competition deck. Of my 5 matches I have lost all 5 and all 5 were variations of eldlich decks that were made for competition... I put one monster down and my opponent special summons 4 on turn 1 and has the end game already set in stone... I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in 15 years, this shit is downright stupid.

I went up against this kind of deck yesterday and they got my LP down to 600 before they ran out of cards. Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon made quick work of them

That's why I run simochi, Its not uncommon for me to have both a nurse and bad reaction to simochi on board, saved me a couple of times from imperm and veiler.
On the flip side I did brick sometimes by having too many nurse or simochi in the starting hand

i love my nurse burn deck for this reason.
I also like my cards that help me draw. because then my opponent watches me use every "draw" effect in the game, before suddenly setting my whole hand passing turn and nuking them for +9k damage before they even get a standby phase.
also upstart goblin at three with nurse on the field, is one of the most satisfying feelings.

@Just a Cat with a Moustache: that player was just unlucky to end-up playing against a ge generated player, for example a ge generated player is a type of player who only have fun, if its opponent does not have any fun, Flood gate deck, it prevent the opponent from playing the game, always negated the opponent card, in that case their is interaction but the enteraction does not count because every single play you make it is negated after negated after negatetd, so the only way to have fun with an infininty negated deck is to also have an infinity negated deck, and that become no fun also because you are force to play a deck that you don't want to play. Somepeople got so unlucky in rank to always be against does kind of people, they start hacking and cheating by putting pot of greed 3 time in their deck in Rank to win with exodia, and you can't even pull pot of greed out of the packs because it is banned a card, the reason pot of greed and does banned card are still in the game, maybe in the future their would be a loaner deck only event in goat format, since that allows pot of greed and gracefull charity. The reason they cheat is the feel like the game is just that anyway without cheating.
my friend xyz summoned a monster that was supposed to one shot me, I had nothing on the field. I draw, trap card. if the enemy monster attacks the damage dealt gets dealt to the enemy player instead. he decides to use the skill to make the monster deal twice as much damage to add insult to injury, spell cards to increase damage even more. he boasts hard as he has his monster attack me directly. I play the trap card. he one shots himself.

DistantCoder has been posting videos of cards that should infinity loop, and master duel tends to kill/stop them even cards with mandatory effects ones around the 16th activation. So no.
No, that'd be an instance of conflicting continuous effect, so the one that was one the field first is the one that counts.
It'd be an infinite loop if one of the cards always gained LP after taking damage, in which case Master Duel would blow up one of the cards that are part of the loop.

My opponents always seem to have such insane luck and never brick once, when every other hand I have, no matter how consistent the deck, end up bricking in the weirdest ways.
I've done draw analysis on some of my decks. When I get into the game I get that 1/300 brick hand so often I wonder about the draw rates. I stopped playing blue-eyes decks because I had a %30 chance of pulling a blue-eyes only to get 2 or all 3 in my starting hand with a 40% average.

I remember I had imperm in my hand when this happen to me but I realized that I couldn’t activate it as due how to chains work, the effect of nurse wouldn’t be negated in time and I would’ve been burned to death.

@@starkworks6620 if I activate imperm in my hand and they chain all the traps afterwards, since chain 1 is imperm I don’t negate nurse effect until the end of the chain so they get to burned me for 8000.

I played against nurse burn and I survived the last 2000(I don't know how it was the card that compares monsters in the extra deck )burn and won with darklords .
That card does three thousand but they have to guess a type of monster you have in the extra deck. If they guess XYZ and you have no XYZ nothing happens
