    If this redesign is meant to discourage vote buying and APC or PDP still wins, we’ll have suffered in vain.

    Fantastic content 👌. The whole thing is a mess. And as always the ordinary Nigerians will always be at the receiving end.

    It's a 2 sided coin. On the one hand PMB wants to sabotage Amudan Ogunlere and his crew in an unwritten deal to advantage Atiku, simultaneously giving the Nigerian people a once in a lifetime opportunity to put Peter Obi into office. On the other hand the cashless economy will pave the way for CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), which can potentially be a deadly weapon on the populace giving CCP (Chinese Communist Party) like powers switching off an individuals or political dissidents money limiting their ability to purchase whatever goods and services they please effectively rendering people into paupers within seconds. It's interesting times we live in. Do we take the devils deal CBDC in exchange for a potentially better future with the another possibility of a future CCP style dictatorship or do we continue on the same path to a future of guaranteed break up and potentially the bloodiest civil war in 21st century history? We shall know by next week.

    Hello Jude. I have a feeling of no favoritism from the presidency. All Nigerians should go out and cast their votes. It is the winner takes it all. As it is, the three frontiers from APC, LP a nd PDP, in alphabetical order, all stand a great chance.

    How can we trust a CBN governor policies who got himself mixed up in politics!!!!!!!!!!????
    The cash redesign was too rushed!!
    U don’t rush such policies!!! Honestly!!!!
    He should have really stayed away from the political games and concentrate al his efforts in the implementation of the policy in the right way without leaving any loopholes
    The policy just created more opportunities for the politicians to take control
    The policy was a great one!!!!
    Bt he got it all wrong when he got involved in politics
    That was the first downfall!!!!!

  • @foleysteelconstruction2410

    Dude your analysis is flawed, because you didn't mention that the CBN governor is interested in being the president, because in a sane society he would have made a statement that he's not interested and it's impossible for him to do so cause of the office he occupies, so there's a conflict of interest .
    Apparently because he loss out in the presidential race and at the same time he didn't carry the ministry of finance along, all pointing to a coup.
    There's nothing wrong if APC makes a case out of it because it will make the administration look bad affecting APC administration.
    This week in all I have paid 20k extra for my hard earned money, also last week was similar.
    The CBN governor should be investigated, as a matter of fact this is terrorism just like the DSS has alleged and predicted.

    Stop saying the banks are "sabotaging" CBN "cashless policy". The CBN didn't print enough notes that's why there's black market for both the new notes and old notes. This explains why the banks were still giving out the old notes few days to the Jan 31st deadline.
    I think the CBN action was deliberate in order to promote cashless society. But the general public are not buying it hence the negative reactions from the masses and the politicians. The policy has failed.

    • @realjudebela
      @realjudebela  Před rokem +11

      I think it's sabotage when the banks loan an ATM with new notes sealed in nylon. I think it's sabotage when a bank hoard N29 Million of the new notes. I think it's sabotage when a bank refuses to load the ATM with cash when they actually have lots of cash locked away while customers fight in queues. Go and verify all I've said.

    • @irokpe6977

      @@realjudebela Mr. Emefiele said that most of the money he printed between 2015 and 2022 are outside bank vaults and he intend to bring them back to bank vaults through the Naira redesign. So why would he call what the banks are doing "sabotage" when he deliberately printed fewer notes while collecting more older notes?
      Remember that Mr. Meffy launched the E naira app in 2021 and it wasn't popular among Nigerians? That's what motivated this press-their-neck cashless policy which angered the public. Emefiele thinks he can use force on people. My guy never see anything. Him go soon see shege.

    • @realjudebela
      @realjudebela  Před rokem +5

      @@irokpe6977 While I agree that Emefiele has his own faults in all of this, I don't think what the banks are doing is any different. Its just pure sabotage.

      @@realjudebela This is not the first time the CBN redesigned its notes. They did that with the N100 in 2014 and N50 in 2010 was there any controversy like what we have now? Was there cash scarcity? So why must everything done with Buhari and Emefiele controversial?

    • @femiairboy94
      @femiairboy94 Před rokem +2

      @@irokpe6977 you’re missing the point. The redesign was done with all denominations and with short notice as well as being a few weeks to the elections.
