Well, the actual plot is this.
First, the pigs steal the eggs and the birds get them back.
Then they try to switch the real one with fakes.
Then they hide in the jungle after stealing their eggs again, but the birds get them back thanks to Hal. (The boomerang bird.)
The pigs then try to capture the birds before stealing the eggs so the birds won't attack them. But Terrence (the fat bird), comes in and frees them, and get their eggs back again.
These were shown in the stages' cutscenes, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. With research, you could actually make a REAL Angry Birds in 3 minutes, if you also included Bad Piggies' levels with the pigs trying to sneak away with the eggs at night. Plus the other things I didn't mention.

the story isnt really that complicated, its just the character you play in the first mission gets ripped apart by that robot, and when he is in the hospital he is nearly dying so they try to do the dni things on him but that doesnt work so taylor tries to help you by sharing his mind with you, and then you die and you dream alot.
Finally! I knew there was a much deeper plot to Angry Birds. Thank you for summing it all up!

You know, the one where without Cardi, the Wings of Anger descend into chaos and civil war, threatening the safety of the island, so the original Angry Birds have to bring Cardi back to life so he can restore order, but then instead of saving the island he goes back in time once more to before Porker was born and does his mother out of spite, realising that he was was Porkers father all along. Then we got the damn cliffhanger we’ve been waiting 256 years to be resolved! Like come on Rovio, just tell me how the story ends!
