I bought "extra bright" Sylvania bulbs from Canadian Tire (here in Canada) and paid $13 for two in a package. I came home, changed out the burnt bulb and immediately noticed it wasn't as bright as the other one. I thought the bulbs were junk. I went to the dealership, purchased 2 bulbs (at $3.50 each), and replaced the bulb in their parking lot - same issue! I thought I had an electrical problem. Then I googled "hyundai brake light bulb dim after replacement" and found this and immediately fixed the problem. Who knew a bulb could go in backwards?! First time for me. Thank you for this video. BTW, the dealership wanted $40 to change out the bulb for a 5 minute job. What a rip off.
