Probably someone already said it in the comments but if you already placed 3 Traveler Geo structures one structure will be removed when you attempt to place the fourth one so to keep it at 3 structures everytime.

i think what happened at 2:18 was the geo construct that you were standing was placed earlier, so when you placed a new one it had to replace the first one that you placed, if that made sense
so like, you placed that geo contruct (the one that disappeared), and then placed zhongli's, and then placed another travelers construct, and then you jumped back to the geo construct (the one that disappeared), and then placed another one, so it replaced each otehr
