I guess not. Otherwise he would have gone way earlier for Ireland. Also he would have harvested the trees on this northern Scottish island. That goes for everyone in the game. If I was in there and see the empty huge island the first goal would be to occupy to empty starting location no one cares for.
I love these interesting maps, mix it up for the usual arabias/randomely generated. you should cast more real world maps!

Wholickedme I agree, this is what sets Zeroempires apart from all the other AOE casters.
I was expecting Bangonel to win from the start due to their placement, but Franklin had a really good comeback.

I think this should highlight the mistake of allowing somebody to just have a whole starting position's worth or rec for free. Red did a good job of accidentally causing everybody to waste everything fighting on the mainland while he was able to use Ireland unmolested. Yellow drained his starting position and then claimed another without too much loss.

Zero has the most entertaiment streams among the AOE casters. It's just so much fun! Didn't stopped to watch until it ended. My age of empires skill is comparable to those guys over there, so I'm a good candidate for a future amateur & laughable FFA stream I think, hahaha.

Why no Franks & Vikings & Celts?
+THERMONUKLEAR KAOS KOMMAND Thought the same. But they would have to start at the propper locations... would be even easier win for abngonel so... total water-domination
+Bruce Squee Celts and Franks would be fair. Vikings would completely dominate the water unless people ganged up on them or prevented them from getting wood.
+Todd Brayer I once played the Game of Thrones scenario, where Vikings are Greyjoys, and that's exactly what happened. That's where the diplomacy comes in, and (while it may have just been invisible) I didn't see a ton of diplomacy in this game. In that GoT scenario, we did eventually destroy the Greyjoys, but only by ganging up 3v1 and fighting on water for about twenty minutes.
Looking at this game, seems like regicide = regi (one of forms of rex meaning "king" in latin) + suicide

Franklin had the window to win. If he was more experienced, he would have been better with patrolling and he'd have been able to stop the landing. It all comes down to him neglecting his army and his economy. Either way, he did a great job coming back around from near death in the early portion. I would have just thrown my hands up and ran, but he didn't, and in fact became a very real threat and had a very real chance to win. GG, wp.

would be cool if you could make your villagers landscape in game and build rivers and fill them in and everything.
That'd be really cool. Like 50 Wood per tile of river^^
But then one could troll the others by chopping as much wood as possible and just turn all the land into an ocean^_^
I think I'm playing the game wrong. Against hardest AI I always end up with several k wood and food in the bank at the end (winning ofc), and hearing Zero's comment that 1k food is a lot, too much even makes me feel that my spending ain't enough.
Franklin could have bought some stone and put up a castle for the time being but it was GG for him anyway
Regicide is by far the most entertaining mode IMO

Yes!!! I wanted the yellow player to win from the begining. It was cool how he invaded the North from his Island in the northeast!

The game would have been more interesting had the Norwegian region fielded Vikings, the Scotland region fielded celts and the France region fielded Franks.
please help me. How the game is played more remote ? smaller trees , building small , how do they do it ?
+Ahmet Enea The smaller trees are a very well-known Steam mod called "Pussywood" - it can be easily found in the top-rated mods on Steam. It sinks the trees down to a single square so you can easily see behind them. I personally don't use it because I don't like the aesthetics (I don't play professionally), but it's a huge advantage for preventing accidental holes in your wall.
Question does the Celt infantry speed bonus affect the king unit?
I don't think the king is infantry. It might be some kind of infantry-but-not-really-infantry-infantry like villagers

Britain is small compared to most other countries, but a country has more land than even 100 warlords could ever need. Britain could have fitted 50 kings in it, almost as easily as fitting 5 in it.
