hey pianopig thanks again your videos are so much easier to understand than anything else i've found, i was wondering if there is anything on thelonius monk in your academy? I am having trouble understanding how to properly "feel" that rhythm that bebop players use, i checked out your approach techniques i just am struggling with that weird swing
Thank you Simon, thank you very much.

Hi piano pig , I have a question. When Alicia Keys play , she plays some really sweet notes after repeatly playing the Em7 and Bm7 . What is the theory behind it? Pls teach us .
Or before she started playing the song, she had started with an intro with a brunch of notes.

Hey my dear brother 💙 your All the videos amazing wonderfull excellent little later IAM going to joining .. tq
Starting learners off with F major is, I think flawed. Starting the learner with C major is far better because there are not black notes to worry about. "Keep it simple"Here it is in C major |C-C-C-C | F-F-C-C|G-F-C-C| This works great for the learner and will give them a good foundation to move on and play a 12 bar blues in ANY key.
Piano pig u re the best to me
Shout out from a beginner from 🇨🇳
Thanks dude!
im a guitarist but due to hand problems im thinking about trying piano
Hi PianoPig
Which application do you use to show these keyboards and please how do you connect it to your keyboard.
We have electronic piano and Mac.
All the best
Plz reply. I want to know how to start any piano piece in front of audience. Are there any opening piano pieces to play in the beginning before playing the desired song? What we call those piano pieces in music? Any specific term.
Or maybe like this Blues shuffle u play , I feel like some melody after u played the first four bar or at the end of this twelve bar, but I don’t know how to play it out from my head
And pls don’t worry abt ppl telling u to start with Key C for beginners . Not everyone agree with that. I m having fun of what u ve been teaching so far
I can sing interval do re mi fa sol la ti do but i can't play a melody or transcribe it unless it is also an ascending do -ti or ti-do (descending)
Ear training hacks plz
I wonder what the narrator sounds like when he's angry...?
"Ah, fuck. I can't believe you've done this."
Yoooo! Good seeing you again, Simon!! what scale can play in the right hand to improvise??
Play around with the F blues scale! Also the D blues scale 😀
PianoPig can I assume I can use the pentatonic blues scale of both those keys?
Absolutely!
Hi Simon, may i know what camera and lense you used for this video, cam for showing hands and yor face... Im sory for my english, im from indo..
I used a Canon 80D with an EFS 17-55mm lense 😀
Do you use 80d 17-55 for face cam? How about camera for hands
For headshots - I change around the camera & lense I use for overhead. Lighting is far more important than camera or lense though.
I hit subscribe but I’m not ready to pay yet , sorry!
The basic shuffle sounds like the harvest moon theme
Awesome teaching but isn't that boogie woogie?
Yes but boogie woogie is just a sub genre of blues 🙂
@@Piano_Pig Thanks for the explanation!
What scale we can improvise over this patterns?
Try F blues scale and also D blues scale 🙂
Why do it in F tho? I cba with this as a beginner and by the time I’ve mastered C, F will be a piece of piss anyway. So much more content out there other than this tripe.
Blues in F is actually a lot more common that blues in C
