Then she used it to tear our hearts out in her live version of "Million Miles" in her concert series in Norway in July/Aug 2022. This has been my default and lazy comment for all the songs on ‘Old Enough’. I apologize to Angelina, all the Angels, and reactors. I am now going to attempt to rate the songs on the EP. The first thing that I’ll make clear is that this is my opinion and as time goes on I may change my mind, but here goes. The top of my list is ‘Diamond’ - very powerful, her statement about the real start of her career.- she seems to be saying that the past is gone and this is my future. Next is ‘Fire And Rain’ - in this song she is saying that she is strong enough to face the future, and as long as the Angels stay by her side she will grow stronger and stronger. Next is ‘Now I’m The Fool’ - this is a very sophisticated look at someone being jilted. I hope it wasn’t Angelina. She is so good at expressing the emotions of others that I don’t think it was her, however, the end of the song is so powerful that it may make you reconsider. . Next is ‘Good In Goodbyes’ - this is a recovery song. There has been a bad relationship, but she has learned from it and it has made her stronger. The symbolism in these lyrics are almost as good as in ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’. Next is ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’.- the personification of Love - asking that even though she is placing most of her attention on her career she is asking Love to stay with her. These are the most sophisticated lyrics, I’m sure a lot of work went into this song. The last song from the EP is ‘All My Fault’ - though I think this is the weakest song on the EP, it is still an excellent song. This is an apology for a love gone wrong, and she is asking for another try. The major comment for all the songs is that they are all great. She not only has one of the greatest voices, her lyrics are sophisticated and impactful. Her previous covers and originals are excellent beyond belief, but they don’t approach the quality of any of the songs on this EP. The songs that come the closest to this EP are ‘You Say’ and ‘Million Miles’. I want to make clear that the above comments and evaluations are my interpretations of her lyrics. I want to reiterate that in my opinion Angelina and her songwriting team are among the best in the industry.

So many vocal and rhythmic twists and turns---so much color and texture and a real feeling of Angelina lets us in close and personal, yet applicable in a truly universal sense. It is for these reasons why we all say, we never know what Angelina is going to do next and she never disappoints us. Yeah, popular sure, even loved or adored. Loved in that kind of love though? I don't think so. She's like one of the most important people in our lives, one we spend some of the most amount of time with. 😂 It's super weird. But whatever, she's got that voice, those skills, and that vibe about her, that all combines in to some crazy peace within. I don't even know if I would call it entertainment, it's different.

Love your reactions to Angelina and I know for sure you will get totally blown away by this performance for a number of reasons. The vocal and style have gone into another sphere and her emotional expressions are like a seasoned performer....then again she has had 15.5 years of being in the limelight!!
Strange that this issue about influences seems to be so touchy. Singers are influenced by others singers just like painters are influenced by other painters. Some find their own individual path earlier, others later. Angelina early on put a lot of material into her influence box, so no there are plenty of ingredients to cook up new recipes from...and what she cooks up is delicious!
Just wait til later in the EP when she brings out some Lauren Hill and Alecia Keyes. oh, and just a sprinkle of Ariana Grande, a tiny bit, like a wink moment in a song. The late 90s R&B and Soul come out later in the EP, makes me think what her Full EP will contain and is she saving the best for last eventhough the entire EP is beyond anything and she disclosed these song are from a 100 she has written. Girl came so preparred, she even got two kitchen sinks

The entire EP is killer and something brand new. I can't believe how much I love it. I was worried that when Angelina came out with new, more modern music she'd be leaving us old-timers behind. I shouldn't have been. She's never let me down. The last song, 'Diamond', my personal favourite, is simply amazing - confident, sassy, no apologies, wonderful.😎
