The fact, however, is that I am in the vast majority of the residents of sanctuary cities. We're just not all scared little girls like you all seem to be. We'd have to put in some extra work and make some extra accommodations, but we're willing and able. You don't become the driving forces behind the strongest economy in the world without being able to solve these types of problems.

Whether it's the Cornovirus, terrorism, or a drug war, having a border wall is absolutely necessary for the security of AMERICAN CITIZENS. Open borders are open to EVERYTHING. I have lived abroad for over 20 years and never lived in a place where the luxury to live and work beyond 3 months was not totally controlled by the host country through, in the beginning, a WORK permit. It was only after employment and paying taxes for 5 years as an American that I was granted a permanent residence permit. That permit is conditional on Good Standing. Break the law or disrupt the host country's gracious invite...and that C permit would go away fast. Why should the US be any different?

I love this country my mother and father came here from Moldova legally and became citizens and I was born here in the USA! And I am thankful for that. When I was young I was in an accident and became legally blind and the left side of my body is partially paralyzed. I did take the time to read your post and I am curious about the undocumented immigrants you mentioned and their tax contributions... do undocumented immigrants pay taxes to the American government.? If they are undocumented, how can they file a tax return.? Of course, we all contribute differently to our communities, but you brought this up specifically in your post and, as I said, I am terribly curious about how this works.
