    What I REALLY want is for Adobe to bring over the auto mask algorithm from Lightroom, imagine if you had a brush that found and understood the edges of objects/colours/tones like the Lightroom one… that didn’t jump into places you don’t want it to like the quick selection tool does. It could be used on the regular brush tool as an option and then used in quick mask to make selections. I’m all for AI helping, but whilst it’s pretty good for people I find that plants (which I cut out a lot) are pretty bad - too many internal corners which get missed no matter how contrasty.

    HI Collin. I have a question about PS Beta. I downloaded it a couple weeks ago and I was able to use it just fine from the Task bar and as an edit option in LR but now every time I try to open it PS opens. can you help me out with this? I always look forward to your tutorials, Thank you

    I agree with rdbimages. Its hard to follow when you talk too fast like this. You do such a great job explaining things and demonstrating, especially for beginners like me, its very important to not rush thru. As is now, i have to go back several times every couple of seconds to see and understand what you are doing. Thanks very!

    Unfortunately anything in Photoshop that uses AI tools and an internet connection takes way too long to process, for anyone outside the US I guess, which really discourages playful experimentation. Adobe needs to work on making the AI libraries installable, or at a minimum invest in local high speed servers. I can't afford to wait a minute or more to find out something hasn't worked.

    • @photoshopcafe
      @photoshopcafe  Před 10 měsíci +1

      The Object finder doesn't use the cloud and you can use Object select in local mode

    • @ralphpayne6259
      @ralphpayne6259 Před 10 měsíci

      Delays outside of USA are not that bad in UK (depending on local data feed technology) and to put it in perspective, see how long it takes without AI

      The "recap and up to speed stuff at the beginning" is faster than the tutorial sections, if you click the gear you can change the speed all the way down to 1/4 speed.
