Interesting that the vulnerable, hopeful attitude was so much more flattering than the confident/diva persona she developed post-casting. Like, genuinely intriguing because confidence usually is more attractive than fear, but in her case it was different.
It's a shame that Kristen girl didn't seem to come back again! I mean Jaslene, Marvita and Angelea all tried out multiple times and made it in in following cycles!
For many girls, ANTM's actually meant something for them, hence why they kept coming back until they eventually made it to the final 14, but for some other girls, they didn't really take it as serious as the others, they only saw this as a chance to be a model and they're confident that they could make it work else where and they don't see Top Model as the only place to do it, not to mention the reputation of the show gotten worse over the year, which explained why in newer seasons (I believe around S16 onward) there're no comeback girls like in the older seasons where almost every cycle there's at least a comeback girl in the next cycle (with the exception of Danny who made it to semi-final in S20 and S21). They only came back when they couldn't make it out by themselves or they're simply wanted to be on ANTM, in later cycles it's clear that ANTM isn't actually about modelling, and their model taste stinks so those who didn't make it to the final 14 didn't even bother to return like in the first 15 cycles, and girls who actually look like models rarely auditioned to be on the show in the first place, which also caused Top Model to go to downward spiral with questionable-looking, not model material girls made it to the final 14.
I noticed Tyra never let a Russian girl win in this show since Cycle 8 from Natasha, Anya (Cycle 10) and Khrystyana (Cycle 24). And somehow Sophie from UK won in Cycle 18 and Jaslene who is originally from Puerto Rico won Cycle 8.
Jaslene clearly a winner from Cycle 8 and Sophie deserved to be the winner on UK vs US, but here Anya should've won, and Cycle 24, Tyra didn't let a fan favorite to win 3 straights in a row.
This cycle sticks out to me as having the BEST and WORST makeovers in the same cycle..... BEST: Fatima, Anya, Whitney, Lauren, WORST: StacyAnn, Dominique, Claire, Aimee, Marvita, Katarzyna Whitney hugging Dominique lol... if only they knew!

Camilla ended up becoming a star on BGC so it's all good for her 😅 more memorable than the majority of these girls. It would've been interesting to see how she competed and interacted with the other girls though.
Whitney was beautiful and deserved FCO for the meat picture, the first Covergirl commercial, and the last Covergirl commercial and picture, along with the FCO she actually got for the music genre one. She definitely overacted in the first commercial but it was miles better than the underacting everyone else did. And then she messed up on the last commercial but it was still better than Anya or Fatima’s. And her Covergirl photo was definitely the best. She was a good winner. Her valley girl voice is the cause for most of the hate anyway, cause it generally does sound so Barbie and fake but it’s actually her natural voice, so she can’t change it lmao. Tyra has said out of all the cycles, Whitney is her favorite ANTM contestant ever.

The first cycle I’ve ever watched due to my cousin Whitney (I’m not kidding, she’s actually a cousin of mine) being in it and she introduced me to this show. And even if she wasn’t my cousin, I would still be rooting for her to win (which she did). And I actually forgot Katarzyna’s existence during the cycle.
To those that didn't make it count your blessings. You were the real winners to be free from the drama and pain. 😊
