Okay, I love this song and the movie. It's dark and it deal with real life issues such as Christianity, lust, sexual harassment, acceptance, and death. The music is beautiful and haunting. I wish there were more Disney movies like this. Today's Disney movies are okay, but they're so sappy that it makes me wanna vomit rainbows sometimes. I want this Disney back.

Edit: In The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the religion is Catholicism. Just to avoid confusion as to why I made this comment.
You mean Catholicism. Christianity and Catholicism are totally different though they worship the same god. Let me explain how. Catholic Churches give power to popes, arch deacons, arch bishops, bishops, deacons, judges and stuff like that. Christians believe that God is the sovereign judge and it is up to him and not a man. It's why I prefer to believe the way Methodists or Holiness people believe, they believe there is no such thing as excommunication unless you have lived a life of sin and not repented before death. Whereas in Catholicism, whether you make it to heaven depends on whether or not you are excommunicated and it also depends if you confess your sins to a priest. Catholic Bibles (I forgot their name) are also bigger than Holy Bibles in that they contain things like the apocrypha (I probably spelled that wrong.) People argue whether the Catholic Bible is right for having the Apocrypha since there's no clear indication that it was "divinely inspired by God" They're known as the "Wisdom Books" and though wisdom is an important part of the religion, the Holy Bible doesn't contain them simply because they don't appear to be divinely inspired.
@@Whatthefudgecookie, Catholicism is a christian religio, in Christianity there are some different religions and Chatolicism is one of them so yeah, Chatolicism is Christianity but in Christianity there are other religions like the Jehovah's Witnesses, protestant, etc.
All these people have in common that their religion begins exactly the same, with the old testament, and they have too in common that they believe that Jesus is the son of God, that's why the Jews aren't Christians, because they believe in Jesus like the messiah but they are still waiting for the son of God to come to this world.
That's why these religions are called Christianity, because they all have this things in common.
I'm a chatolic by the way so that's why I know this and yes, we belong to Christianity, although I respect all religions and all people are free to believe what they want in this world as long as they don't hurt anyone nor play with the darkness and evil

This seriously feels like something one would see on the Disney Channel if Jonathan and Caleb did this for a Disney Mania album or something. (Not that Disney would do that since this cover would probably be considered 'too scary' or something for today's wimpy audiences.)

"this cover would probably be considered 'too scary' or something for today's wimpy audiences." - Hunchback of Notre Dame was considered a failure when it was released exactly because everyone thought it was "too dark" for children and let's be real, it kind of is (Hellfire is literally about Frollo telling Esmeralda would burn if she didn't get laid with him, ironic-lol. Not saying kids can't hold a little dark stuff, quite the opposite, but this might be a little too much). If the movie was released today, it would probably be more successful I think, the timing was bad (same happened with Emperor's New Groove) . Disney should make a separate brand for more mature animations and do more experimentations and adaptations like this one without the fear of being targeted "too dark for kids".
