Poor Bob was having a bit of a mare. After forgetting to carry the 6 he messed up his landing coordinates and splashed down at a remote desert lake. As if this wasn't bad enough he'd also left the toilet valve open causing his spacecraft to do a titanic. Marooned with only his life preserver (Herbert) for company Bob would have no choice but to wait for rescue.
With Valentina booked in for a pedicure and Jeb too hung over to get out of bed it's left to Bill to come to Bob and Herbert's rescue. By the sounds of things he's better get there fast, something about wolves?
Fortunately the team has just been equipped with Gnat - Light VTOL Transports. Like Mazda MX5s of the sky Gnats are compact, agile, surprisingly tough and above all fun to fly! They come in three flavours including a single seater, duel seat rescue edition (featured here) and an unmanned trainer designed to save on those pesky lawsuits.
I have to admit I was struggling to find a song for this video but was saved (yet again) by the Crash Test Dummies, and Brad Roberts luscious baritone vocals. The track is off their latest album Oooh La La which I can't recommend highly enough:

Extraordinary work. Awesome video, especially the landing on the boat with the last minute pivot. One of the KSC's crack pilots must have been at the controls.

+Cupcake Landers guess what? I did it and I made an air-land-sea aircraft carrier, fully stock no mods. Though It's quite tiny and normal aircraft can't land as good. I'll try some of your tiny designs and see how it goes

Man, that vtol lander looks amazing, but would it work with feram? I notice that the nose points down while the engines push the craft up and forwards, doesnt that create massive drag and inefficiency leading to sudden aircraft disassembly? Also should I be using feram? Or have the stock drag calculation physics been updated sufficiently to give a good flight experience / problem solving?
+CabbageFoot16 Well the ship was designed and tested using the stock aero so I can't speak for Ferram. IMHO the new stock aero is a big improvement over the old one, but I dunno, just try and it and see what you prefer. :) As for the craft I think it's pretty effecient. During cruising the nose is usually pointed down about 10* which isn't too horrendous from a drag point of view.

Sorry, I don’t mean to pry, I’ve just been trying to create a submarine for awhile and haven’t quite discovered how to do it yet.
I added ore tanks and filled them up to make the craft sink. ;)
Cupcake Landers, ah, okay. Is there like a weight-buoyancy ratio? I have tried that method before, but when I did, my craft refused to sink.
Also, where can I acquire the mod that enhanced the visuals of the water?
It’s been a while but I think I had to strap four big ore tanks to make the thing sink.
