There is a depth of understanding in these songs that's not present in much of contemporary Christian music. An understanding of what it means to follow Christ, man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. What it means to be conformed to His image. What it means to die daily. I'm so grateful for these songs; they echo a brokenness deep in my spirit. Thank you for them.
