Fed up of waiting 20 mins to inflate your sib? Want to just get straight out on the water... watch this!
There are many ways to inflate your sib, you can use a high pressure 12v pump, a foot/hand pump or a leaf blower. In this video I will be showing the difference between my 12v pump and a leaf blower.
This is a perfect tool to use to get you on the water quickly ready to start sib fishing, lure fishing, bait fishing, anything that you fancy! Just get some air in the boat and then top up!
My favourite type of fishing is lure fishing for bass off the inflatable boats (sibs), they are perfect. They are super quick to set up, they are fast, and can go in such shallow water, it's amazing! Inflatable boat fishing is becoming more and more popular as people realise you do not need an expensive boat to reach the marks out at sea. You can buy a setup for around £2000-£3500 and this will do you fine.
I love going beach fishing, shore fishing but nothing beats boat fishing on these inflatable boats. You can find the fish a lot easier, they are fast and most importantly much more fun!

Nice one. I have bought the exact same Makita leaf blower before watching this video but haven't tried it out yet. Nice to see that it works :) I was planning to glue a valve adapter to the leaf blower but you seem to be doing fine without.

And it's not even that expensive when you already have the batteries.
I bought the valve adapter, but you can't put any extra pressure with it.
Leaf blower's conic hose alone is a little faster.

I have the dewalt workbench blower which is just as good, but I heat the Milwaukee is even better. (Ie less manual top up).

Hi just suscribed ive just got a seago 290 sib and bought a decathlon pump should have watched this video first unsure of the presure what psi did you set the decathlon pump to as ive been told 2 psi thanks good vids just going through them now
My tubes should be 0.25bar and the keel is 0.35bar but yours may be slightly different... 😊 Glad you like the videos!
Hi are you using an attachment or opening the valves to allow the air in from the leaf blower , that’s a game changer love the leaf blower
I just open the valve, push it against it and then when I pull it away quickly close it 👍 works a treat
How do u fit the adapter for the boatvalves on the blower?
Would really like to do this myself. Seems only some leafblowers have the narrow tips
Thanks for the comment, so on the video I open the valve and then place the leaf blower end directly over it and once finished I take it off and quickly tighten the valve. I have seen some people glue the adapter for the boat onto the end of the leaf blower do you don’t need to do this.
Ive been using an Air mattress pump for my paddle board. It gets my board to the point where its inflated and ready to take air from a high pressure pump in 3-5 minutes. The best part is it cost me $15 bucks on amazon.
Yes that’s also a great idea, is it battery powered though?
@@SouthysFishing Im sure you could find one which is battery powered. Mine is powered off a DC outlet in my car which works well for my application as i am usually inflating it where I drop in.

Thanks for watching, I have pumped my boat up 3-4 times and not needed to charge it. I am unsure of exactly how long you would get though

Works great thanks. Any tips for non electric topping up on the water? I'm thinking the foot pumps wont be much fun on an air deck? I have a presta adaptor to boat valve but doubt a bike pump will get far.. :-)
You can get small hand pumps to top up but it is either that for foot pump if not electric 🙂 thanks for watching check out my other videos !
That deacatalon pump is slllowww :s should invest In a Bravo 12v pump (I got the one with Croc clips not sure on model?) and a small car battery bit of a layout but total game changer can get my honwave t35 inflated in under 5 mjns and to correct pressure too so no having to go round with a gauge an toppin it up with them killer foot pumps 😁

Excellent video! But as a beginner, can you tell me how accurate the final air pressure has to be and how do you measure this? Thanks.
Extremely important, so you only use this to get the bulk of the air in then you top up with manual pump with a gauge or a hand pump. If your manual pump does not have a gauge you can buy one that you twist onto the tube to check the pressure, but I would recommend getting one on the pump 👍. I use the leaf blower to inflate the boat and then an electric pump to finish it off whilst I unload the van.

@@jjs3287 When the boat is in the water it will lose some air yeah, so keep an eye if you have a inflatable deck.

Nice 1, ive just purchased 1 of these. Im guessing that u have2 quickly turn the valve back out so the air doesnt all rush out again. Cos ur not using a valve adaptor? Is that correct? Thanks... jj

Ben, what attachment do you use on the end of the nozzle to fit the honwave valve tightly??
I don't have an attachment. Just open the valve and hold it against the tube 👍

I use a lilo pump then foot pump. Only takes me about 3 mins. Lilo pump was 9£ from bnm

I top it up with an electric pump after to get it to pressure.

How many PSI is it able to get the SIB?
0.25 bar for the tubes, 0.35 bar for the floor. Sorry not sure what it is in PSI.

I love ya videos and then I seen the worst offence a grown man can do.... crocs!!!. I have lost all respect. You can't be cool and own a SIB and then let yourself down by wearing crocs. Great video I use my shop vac the same way just without the crocs. It takes no more then 2 mins to Inflate.

You're not the first one to have tried it!
Short and plain;
The type of inflatable.
One's setup (rigging).
Financial conditions.
These are just a few amongst others besides, with the leaf blower you have to be there, physically holding it. With the automatic pump, you don't! You can be doing other stuff therefore, speeding the process!...
Just saying.
Yes you are right. However I normally go with one other person so one does the pumping one gets the stuff. It does take a couple of mins with the electric one after if you want some time I finish your last bits 👌 anyway whatever works for you, tight lines
