Sir, if searches are strictly enforced at railway passenger entry & exit points, criminals carrying dangerous weapons will get no chance to board the trains & make passenger journies hazardous. But our railway system becomes alert only upon happening of unhappy events & enforces stricter checks only for few days, then again apathic attitudes continue & things move as usual. Railways should come out of this attitude of breakdown maintainance and make passenger & rail safety utmost priority, enforcing checks on strict & regular basis.Hope to see railways change its attitude and atleast our SWR becomes the safest rail travel zone in the near future.
